Someone mentioned a little BUICK -- after I said it would be cool in Jason Rushforths Buick...

Here's a NASTY AZZ little buick - built right here in the good ol' Pacific NorthWET.... and it would make a nasty little track / Auto X car with some exotic underpinnings...

The other little car that would be "different" but still be attractive and desirable - albeit a bit less than a Nova -- would be a Falcon/Comet Calente

I already have a 62 Mercury Sprint Wagon in the works once we finish the Chassisworks Camaro.

I traded out 400 bucks for the most rust free wagon I have ever seen and the Total control front suspension will bolt right on with a few mods the push rod rear will go on. The I did some trade work for a duratech 4 cylinder with 5 speed. I have been told they will make 300 hp pretty easy.

Nothing fancy just a sweet crusier with some bitchin parts and a few left overs.

My thoughts on this transaxle are what ever it goes into has to be detailed to the max, light weight, and 500 hp. Plus a clean slate idea. I have been thinking about my 36 3 window for while now but what do you use for an engine. Procharged Ardun, chevy inline 6 cylinder like falconer, or a bitchin 4 cylinder? What ever it is it has to fit the theme. And then what do you use for suspension? Probably some thing completely custom.

I like the idea of your 36 ford.
how about something like a 38 chevy?
henry j?
mid 50s-early 60s olds,buick or pontiac?

maybe use a turbo v-6 out of a grand national for an engine?

Want to be different? How about an all out track 77-78 Chevette with a turbo 4-banger on E85? Or a Maverick ditto? That box looks long though...
Otherwise my choice would be a Pantera with V6 turbo power and lots of carbon parts. Make it handle like it looks!

Jeff-

Now we're talking!

I still like my idea of using Ketzers VW bus...

Then I got to thinking -- what about a Dodge product. People like them - but hardly anyone does them unless they do "restoration"...

So if you TURBO a DODGE with FERRARI gear - what do you have??

A "Turdorarri"?

But if you want it to sound Eyetallian....

It could be called the "Ferrardo"

Seriously --- a Demon body or a Duster... would be "different" and "kool" at the same time. Do it in Testa Rosa Red - do the flanks in black - but not flat and not all shiny either - interior using the BILLET SEAT GROMMETS... from Tracy < recovery room > .... and modern Hemi powerplant.

Do the "Ferrari" emblems like they used to do the bumble bee (on the flanks) OR better yet - just once and on the hood only --- use a "jackass" instead of a horse... (permission granted to use my face for the jackass). :woot:

Roger --

Since I bought my POS 37 Minotti (Ford) in Bakersfield -- I think you should either use it - or your 36 -- both have the "trunk area" to get that big azz transaxle in. And it would be so different but salable too! And they look KILLER in RED!
