Can you tell us a little about your alum/steel bonding process ? What product are you using? I assume you form a flat flange on the bottom of the scoop and that's what you are bonding to the hood surface. How does this bonding cope with the different expansion rates of alum and steel ? I've often wanted to join alum to steel on body work but was always concerned with this. Great car although I much prefer the '68 Shelby front end to the '67 front end. Thanks for all the photos I always learn so much from these well documented builds. |
