Nice build, I was wondering if your car was a drag car (because of the rear 4 link set up) when you bought it. And if it was a touring type Camaro.... How did it handle with that 4 link set up? Thanks

Thanks,

From the way this car was built I don't think it was a drag car. Though I think it had some used pieces borrowed from a drag car. The ride quality was rough but we were running the car too low and the suspension was bottoming out.

Over the last few days we've put around 100 miles on the car breaking things in. The G-Link makes it feel like a whole new car.

Small update.

Pulled the old manifold/carb and started mocking up the EFI setup.

My old setup wouldn't allow an air filter to fit under the hood. I knew the EFI setup was shorter but still had my fingers crossed about it fitting.

It looked tight when I was eyeballing it. Closed the hood and snaked my arm up into the bay to snap some pics.

It clears! Maybe 3/8" clearance but I'll take it.

Tomorrow I'll start playing with the wiring. I also need to finish planning the fuel supply and get some things on order.

I wad up a bit of clay -- build a "mound" out of it -- close the hood - and then measure the flattened wad to see how much clearance I have... Got to allow for a bit o'torque over etc.

Glad to see that nice EFI set up on there!
