Wheres the beef? Its right here....285's & 345's. I built a jig to measure offset and position the tires where I want them. Tires will be mounted tomorrow, at the local Ferrari dealership of all places...Ill get some more pics once it rolls on new rubber. Next step it to wire the car, slow and painful!

The KumhoXS is a great trackday tire . I run them on my C4 . They are like hockey pucks in cold weather though . Very predictable break away point .

What did you come up with for wheel size/offset?

Man...I can't wait for the shoes on the ground shots.

By the way, you know you can lower and raise the vehicle with the jam nuts on the end of the springs front and rear to get the right stance.

Roll it around a bit and let it settle before you take those pics...LOW AND MEAN baby!

Here is a shot of my old 69 on some of the most recent modification work to it - notice how low it is.....

No I am not Kaos, that is my buddy Rob that bought the car. The other car was originally called Killer - as it was seen and known on the magazine articles, advertisements, etc. I had originally built it and he took it over in 2008. He is now adding his own touches to it - and it is truly KAOS with a whole new identity- really making it his own and taking it to that next level. The subtle changes and details they are doing with a fellow named Josh at the Custom Image shop are just amazing.

Chris, the sizes are:
Front - 17x9.5 5"offset
Rear - 17x11 5" offset
I didnt have time to roll it around tonight and Ill play with the stance later. I wanted to get these on before dark tonight and make sure everything fit. The rears ended up perfect! I was kind of conservative in the front but I know it wont rub or have any issues. Let me know what you think. I cant wait to get some chrome on the car, especially the roll bar. It should really bring the car together at that point.

I got some goodies in the mail. My keyless system from AdvancedKeys.com is pretty slick. You carry an active proxcard in your wallet. When you approach the car it will unlock itself and allow the ignition to be armed. Push the botton to start, system will crank the engine for you, another push and its off. Walk away and the car will lock itself. You never have to use a key and its more secure than a modern OEM system. If you notice, the door locks have been shaved in anticipation of this feature.

The other package was the new VHX gauge system from Dakota Digital. A completely modern look with integrated gauges, turn signal & high beam indicators, digital readout, and a central gauge input module with info being relayed to the gauges via eithernet cable to minimize wiring and complexity.
