Hay Jim what are you using for your front runner system? Looks very compact. The welds look sweet, you make them look really good

Thanks Rick. Front drive is from Wegner Motorsports.

I finally ordered tires. Pilot sport PS2. Front 255/45/19 (28.1 diameter) rear 275/40/20 (29.8 diameter).

EVOD will build the wheels with a simulated sidewall so they will appear to be 16's and 17's with a lot of sidewall height. I think this is the ideal way to achieve the proper look on an old car like this while still having brake clearance and the ability to run a performance tire.

At approximate ride height-

This build just keeps getting better. Great fab work and welding. the tires look great. The wheel concept sounds like it will look retro & awesome.

Thanks!

I've been a bit lazy on the car but a new part arrived, a fuel tank that matches the roof :-)

Thanks to Hector and the guys at Rick's tanks. This is their Vaporworx tank which runs corner pickups and a dual pump module from a 2012 Cadillac CTS-V. It's brushed stainless and has a 26.5 gallon capacity. Stock tank is 20 gallons.

Just need to get some brackets. (It will be mounted to the frame).

Nice Jim, man this is going to be one cool ride for sure! I always get more done in the winter than the summer. How are the wheels coming?

Thanks Rick! Yeah I've been spending a lot of time on my motorcycles trying to enjoy the weather. In the winter I don't mind locking myself up in the garage.

Wheels are coming along well, I'm told they will be done this month.

Basically looking pretty stock! You can see in the cad drawings how the whitewall is integrated.

Oooooh weee....26.5 x $4.00/gallon premium fuel=$106 per fill up. :( Geesh, that is a huge tank. Nonetheless, this beauty will look sweet rolling down the road. I love the classic look of the wheels.:wow:
