Gaps look good. Repo's take a lot of work to get the gaps like NOS
|
thanks Jay,I really like the car you built for wife and love the Rushforths

Nice updates. Good to see you back at it.

Very nice build, can't believe I had missed it. Are you doing all the work, " great work "
|
Great build, can't wait to see it painted!
|
Thanks, gotta get some pics up soon, just cut both quarters and tailpan off to replace with a couple N.O.S. quarters and RS rear body pan, could not get satisfied with the other brand sheet metal, probably just been to picking.

WOW! That core support and front cap alignment is looking spectacular! I need someone like you over in my garage helping me get my front cap aligned. To the death of me, I sure can't get it right!
|
Looks awesome. Not sure why but I love this stage of the build.
Keep it up man! |
Thanks guys body gaps are a hard thing to get right, sure takes a lot of patience. This stage is a lot more fun because once your finished cleaning all of the time kind of sucks.

Just picked up a couple of GM quarter panels,I know its alot of money but I will definitely do it again on next car I build after this one.Big difference in fit and gaps without much work,if I was a good welder like alot of fabricators on this site I would have reworked what I had,but unfornutely I am not a great welder and dont have a tig welder.Making progress still waiting for roof skin but got quarters and tail panel on and primed with very little work on gaps, really happy so far.http://i1192.photobucket.com/albums/...psa8707085.jpghttp://i1192.photobucket.com/albums/...psf1d630cf.jpghttp://i1192.photobucket.com/albums/...ps6bd2213e.jpghttp://i1192.photobucket.com/albums/...ps056802f1.jpghttp://i1192.photobucket.com/albums/...psde244168.jpghttp://i1192.photobucket.com/albums/...ps7aa8dae3.jpg
