Well hot damn! lol

Felt good about the speed/stop and autocross but never heard my time on the road course.

I look at it this way.. if I could wheel the car to 6th then a good driver could have even done better since there's no way i ran 10/10ths on the road course.. Makes me proud of the old girl.

And after the race I loaded it with all my stuff and drove her home.. Very happy with a "top 3" finish in the field of PT cars.

And a big congrats to Mark Stielow.. that boy sure knows how to kick some serious ass.. :)

Unless I missed something

I do not see how that list is accurate. Danny Pop ran the autocross, but his car broke on the first timed lap of the road course so he posted a DNF. I do not believe that he ever ran the speed stop.

I guess he got enough points in the autocross and Design parts to make the list.. or they took he warm up lap time for the road course?

Not sure until I see all the various bits.

Lancer Evo and Nissan GT-R finishing 3 & T5..........with an all-wheel drive advantage. Say's a lot for the performance level of the old Chevy muscle cars and Bret's '33.

Just heard that they did use the time from Popp's warm up lap.. I thought that if you didn't complete the whole segment you got a DNF for that part of the competition?

In any event, that's why he still made it into the 7th slot.

Honestly, congrats to Steilow for the win like others have said. But I'm extremely impressed with Brian's 2nd overall finish and road course win as he is down quite a bit on power from Steilow. And also VERY impressed with your 6th place finish Steve. That is huge, I would be very proud of yourself!!

And they are both killer drivers.. the Lancer guy does the big-time SCCA autocross stuff and I heard the GT-R owner is a driving instructor in Canada.

In the top 10 for the speed-stop there were only three non-ABS cars.. one was Bret's kit-car roadster.. the other two were Brians car (8th) and my Camaro (9th).

There's something to be said for launch control, AWD, and ABS :)

Thanks, I was pretty happy with how the day went, especially since I don't consider myself a really good road course driver.

And after the race I loaded up all my crap and drove her home to CA.. ;)
