I think it would look cool, leave the top faces and the outer ridge that goes all around the cluster polished, the rest in a textured or wrinkle black.

Update. We have filled all but the 2 custom dash orders that are being machined very soon. I had 1 guy back out and I ordered an extra dash to sell to the guy who just had to have one when we were done. We have no plans to do more of these unless we have them casted from aluminum and machined from the casting. There is over 28 hours of machine time alone in these dashes. That does not include the nearly 200 lbs block of aluminum.

So I have 2 dashes ready to ship today. If you want one now is your time as I'm not sure we will do any more.

Enjoy the pics. The painted center section is going in the 1970 Chevelle project for Fairway Chevrolet.

The customer flys in next weekend after I get back from Seattle to test drive and inspect. Its actually a dark gray not black.

Want one? That's putting it mildly. I've told my car all about these dashes. I have a picture of one in my wallet. It's just too much coin for my budget. Perhaps one will show up on flea bay in 15 years or so...

Well, I think I got the last one coming to Miami. Hopefully it will not be to much to get it installed. I'm thinking black in the flat parts and all raised sections polished. Sport Comp 11 gauges and thinking of the center gauge trying to fit a Dakota http://www.dakotadigital.com/index.c...prod/prd63.htm
If think the center hole was bigger but maybe something out there that could be used to see trans gear selected.
can't wait to get it.

Due to the overwhelming response we have gotten from this Dash we will be machining a limit quantity once again in late July. These dashes start out from a 200 lbs block of aluminum and end up at roughly 17lbs. It takes 28 hours to make those 183lbs of aluminum chips. The dash is designed to use all the normal parts most protouring guys use.

These dashes have been in some awarding winning cars this year and there are quite a few more coming out this summer. Due to the huge cost to design and manufacture these dashes, The price for these dashes is 5000.00 bucks. It not cheap but I had no idea that demand we would have for this kinda product.
