Beautiful build Rusty. I am definitely subscribed to this one as I too am building a 65 FB with the DSE minitubs. I'll have to start a thread on the build as we're already past the install.

Brian wanted something fun to work on so he started installing the DSE rear suspension. Part of the trunk floor has to be cut out.

awesome build

you guys going to weld the crush sleeves into the frame?
|
You have to weld a snubber bracket to the frame rail

DSE leaves the stock strut rod brackets but I like this better plus it gives you somewhere to place a jack. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...ps8de92309.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...ps34e4456e.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...ps7a4f53f1.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...ps40ef1a98.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...ps1d5f4f5e.jpg |
Damnnnnn that's a nice setup, nice work!
|
I believe your snubber bracket is welded more securely than my frame rails were when I received them in from a vendor!!!!
Awesome progress |
