I have to agree with this.. while mine is not black it is dark charcole gray.. seeing the body color through the grill just doesn't look right IMO. Nearly as bad as seeing a radiator companies logo through the grill (painted in BIG letters)

Yea the radiator is going to be painted black in front also....

Beautiful, Just Beautiful!

Hey Paul, great looking car, man! One question, did you have to drill out the rivets on your original front clip to get the radiator support off? On my '66 the radiator support is riveted to the subframe in certain areas. Also, did you smooth over the rad support? mine has more indentations for stuff. Did you make a custom support shelf?(The piece that goes on top of the radiator support)? Sorry, that was more than one question wasn't it!

Thanks, Roger....The car is coming together just how i wanted it to.I dont know if you read my other post but my interior guy layed down his motor cycle a couple weeks ago....and he got backed up ...So it dosent look like the car will be done for columbus good-guys ....what the deadline was that we wanted to meet. But the car is looking great and i dont want to just get a quicky inteiror done just to get it to 1 show....

Waiting is the part of the game. It allows you to take a step back, appreciate what you have accomplished and yet confirm things that still need to be completed on the project. It's hard to get everything done completely right the first time.
