Geeze, and I was complaining of 8 degrees cel here.
Stay warm and work on that thing when it warms up a bit. Don't let the cold affect the build. Looking great so far. |
Start to weld some part. I suck in welding = hours of grinding

Sit back the jig to ground but its warped.
So I screwed it to the garage floor to make it straith. I reinstalled the structure and quarter to realign. I didnt receive driver side quarter so I did it on pass side only and the structure is ready to weld on the floor pan. http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a56...ps744703b8.jpg http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a56...psddefd510.jpg http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a56...ps298bba1a.jpg |
Your welds look pretty darn good to me:thumbsup:
You are doing an amazing job on your build. Keep it up:thumbsup: I noticed something though. One of the reasons why DSE leaves the end of their subframe connectors open for you to weld, is you may have to cut the length of them to properly fit to the subframe itself. I was wondering if you had fitted the subframe to make sure there's no interference between the connector and the subframe? |
