Given that we have somewhat of a reputation for C-10's with tidy handling, this one will be no different... :unibrow:
As mentioned, this will be getting our FAST TRACK C-10 chassis (More info HERE) with 9" rear and Strange rear axle and gears. http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7308/9...901fc6f7_b.jpg IMG_3587 by Roadster Shop, on Flickr http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3697/9...859fb04f_b.jpg IMG_3589 by Roadster Shop, on Flickr http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3809/9...5257415c_b.jpg IMG_3588 by Roadster Shop, on Flickr And to perfectly compliment the FAST TRACK chassis, our RS by Penske double adjustable coilovers... http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5504/9...55452209_b.jpg IMG_3599 by Roadster Shop, on Flickr and stopping duties taken care of with 6 piston Wilwood's up front and 4's on the rear. http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7326/9...4e4f92df_b.jpg IMG_4326 by Roadster Shop, on Flickr http://farm3.staticflickr.com/2884/9...76c4e88b_b.jpg IMG_3575 by Roadster Shop, on Flickr |

Is NVH a big concern on a vehicle like this ? I'm curious if you have noticed a problem using solid mounted shocks like that vs a rubber/poly bushing. I felt like using monoball mounted shocks made a noticeable difference in my vehicles, although replacing one end with a poly bushing didn't help that much. Just curious if you thought it mattered.
OTOH I told my shock builder what I was doing and he was horrified - I had just negated any subtlety to his valving.I think he was over reacting. |
who do you guys use for powdercoating the chassis?
