Car looks great! I think the 285's will be fine. I just put 315's on my Rebel that is on air and didn't need to touch the inside of the wheelwell or the outside lip. Since it is lowered, I did need to cut a section out of the wheelwell that angles down and outward from the middle of the well toward the lip.

that inner fender well was on my radar also man that car is looking sweet believe it or not I was thinking about red rims also we need more pics of your Rebel

Ha! That's funny. I was considering black wheels. I love the painted steel wheel look but a 17x11 steel wheel was waayyy too heavy. These are aluminum but, apparently like you, it took forever to get them. Once I did get them they were wrong and had to go back to be redone!

I don't want to hijack your build thread with my pics but I would be glad to send you pics of my build. It is very similar to yours.

I am really looking forward to your posts.

well tires are mounted ..stripes gotta go I thought the might work but I'm not crazy about them that 285 rear tire disappears in that rear wheel well lol and the front will come down with the control freak suspension installed once i get it and UPS don't loose it again so here is a few pictures ..http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j7...ps3uhjqhrn.jpg...http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j7...pssinaef2o.jpg...http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j7...psdj7ol5cv.jpg..http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j7...ps0argtxvo.jpg...http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j7...pse9a2yo0f.jpg...http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j7...psqpqr6gfc.jpg..http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j7...psn6j4tvpt.jpg..http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j7...pskqenwoqj.jpg...http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j7...psbk7p3f8f.jpg..http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j7...psj21dwgno.jpg..http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j7...pspij3pcod.jpg...http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j7...psqmgsuftp.jpg....should look really good with Red wilwood calipers front and rear

got all 4 on today to figure out whats next rear still has air in shocks front needs a couple inches taken out of the front then it should be sitting about right stripes are gone and it looks like a completely different car ...http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j7...pssphs0f3h.jpg....http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j7...psqyx6icfz.jpg.....http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j7...psnlog7ngj.jpg..http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j7...pslutcsvcp.jpg..http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j7...ps6w0ac50g.jpg...http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j7...pssm3umb0d.jpg

Man, those wheels makes the car look like a whole new car. And I like the no-stripe look much better too. Very nice!!

Looks good! I think it's going to look great once you get the suspension on there and can bring it down a bit. Good luck moving forward!
