do a story on how many U.S cars have shipped to australia, or other countries. Sometimes i wonder if you guys have any solid camaros and mustangs left there, because all the good ones here. Of course we have a lot of impala's, parisienne's and other boats, but it's mainly camaros and stangs.

I'd love to see a head's up comparo of a Gearvendor's overdrive versus say a well built 4l60E or 4l80E. put both behind the same motor, drive them both for a week. give us a pro's/con's & your input on everyday driving.

That's it, you need to start sending them back, tomorrow, but that's right now for you isn' it, better get moving.

We have ended up with mostly pretty good cars over here, as the freighting costs are just not worth it on a junker.

Another thing: I know you guys wont approve, but a lot of these cars have been converted to RHD over the years too, as only the last few years we have been able to drive LHD vehicles on the roads here.

I'd like to see stories on how to install LSX and 4.6 DOHC supercharged motors in classic musclecars. The best overdrive trannies vs Gear Vendors and some suspension shootouts. Another idea would be, affordable cars to pro-tour or different pro-tour makes. I know 69 Camaros are great p-t cars but they have been done to death.

I agree with seeing the "new" engine swaps, especially with power adders! :_paranoid It only makes sense that if you build your muscle car to truly be driven, the modern power and fuel efficiency can not be beat. Plus they are cost effective.

I have been doing BIG research on the overdrive autos vs. Gearvendors. The 4L80 is the best bang for buck out there with prices ranging between $3000 and $5500 depending on overall strength needed. The huge plus to this is the controlability with the LSX factory computers, for guys like me this makes tunability and consistancy amazing. The downside is that 4th gear cannot handle full power upshifts at the 1000 hp level. I could handle that, but, It will also not hold this power for long periods of time at WOT in 4th without overheating the trans.
The gearvendors is a bulletproof unit that gives overdrive, but you lose controlability with factory pcm's and you do not have a lockup converter for maximum efficiency.
