Same here!
 Lead. 'Love those install pics! (but it makes me think i'm not as ''scareless'' as when i was young (now 33!)...Now to think i'm gonna strip my car 'only' to that level scare the $h!t out of me not knowing when i'll drive it again. I'm getting to think i should still pile up some stuff and do it all at once like you are. That way i'd keep on enjoying it...but you know how it is, you touch one thing and the next thing you know its all apart! Anyway, looking good Tracy! |
Looking good

My wheels arrived and they are spectacular!!
I am very pleased!! Forgeline makes beautiful products.
I also want to extend a HUGE thanks to Frank Serafine and Prodigy Customs for hooking me up with these awesome Forgelines. They shipped when Frank said they would and they exceeded my expectations!! Now I have to choose rubber. I was dissapointed to find out that the the BF Goodrich G-Force KDW2 tires are not actually available in 335s as their web site indicates.... http://www.CamaroSupercars.com/Photo...s/IMG_4142.JPG http://www.CamaroSupercars.com/Photo...s/IMG_4143.JPG http://www.CamaroSupercars.com/Photo...s/IMG_4135.JPG http://www.CamaroSupercars.com/Photo...s/IMG_4139.JPG |

Hey Frank,
Yes, i sent Forgeline the C6 calipers specs tonight because i need the wheels to check the spacing....Hopefully they'll be willing to help. I was/ am undecided on the size because of those darn 345's i cant get fit easily. To do the job, i need to change suspension set up from leaf to either Q-Link or Air bar (3000$)...then i can fit 13" rim. Then, i need the wheels,(5500$) of course i need brakes too...(3000$) + i need to tub the thing and do the frame connectors etc Oh and cut the housing + new axles (1500$) to use 5 inches of BS.......Did i mention the front suspension? See, this is a budget exercise. I can't spend 15k at once. i have the dough for the tires and rims and could stretch for the brakes...but what good if i can't put the wheels on?(rear) Then, i could also do the suspension and do the tires next year (Yeah right). Or, i coud sell my 345's and run 20 x 10 and 295's instead...that way i could do everything because wheels are 500$ apiece instead of 1500$ea (Me = Canadian money, don't forget....) but now that i have the 345's you think im into this? NO. If i could skip the suspension clearance issue it could be done faster. (Tire clearance to the leaf spring) especially since i have a set of bran new offset shackles in their box. Ha, anyway...I'll stop whining and get back to calculations...I'll find a way. I alway' do! You guy's have a tought for my dog tonight ok. I just came back from the emergency clinic. He drank water too fast tonight and flipped his stomach. It was a risky and costly (5k+) operation and we left him there. My wife stayed with him, i couldn't, i did with our last dog and still remember the pain. He was a 5 year old 140 pound all Muscle Doberman. The hardest thing is i told my (oldest) 4 year old little girl when i left tonight that i was gonna bring her dog back in the morning....I don't really look forward to breakfast... Lead. :( |

As for the car, it seems like you save yourself lots of trouble and expense by "settling" for 335's  |
