I still want to add boost, but my plan at this point will be to get the car finished first. Roger, it will be similar to Steve's.
The headers are 1.75" and they're uncoated. I'm evaluating what I want to do. Run them as is, cut the primaries and have a local fabricator create stepped headers by welding 1.875" primaries tubes 6" past the flange, or perhaps try a different header all together. We're very fortunate to have Art Morrison involved with Lateral-g as they are willing to bend over backwards for their customers. The ATS headers are very nice but are cost prohibitive to my project. |
I got my Rockland Standard T56 today and got it in the car. I'll be measuring for a driveshaft tomorrow. Feels good to make some progress on the car. :)

Damn.....That LS7 looks snug as a bug in a rug! Like it was there all along!

Scott, Those headers are 1.75 right? They look big in the pics.
What is the plan for having this car done? PT this year ? I would love to see it . Looks good  |
Thanks Jason. :)
Yep, they are 1.75" primaries. They are from Art Morrison for their (and your) new subframe. They're really nice. I've been talking to Kooks about a set of conversion headers. As you know, the exhaust ports on the LS7 are different from the standard LS port and I'd like a bigger primary. Although I wouldn't be scared to run the Art Morrison headers I have now. |
looks great scott. Can't wait to see that thing on the road:thumbsup:
