Any word on when the Camaro hits the Rob and Big show? I saw the teaser YouTube vids but I need more!

I saw an episode when they were playing with the toy version of the Camaro. It was really fast and the bulldog was chewing on one haha. I think they had both all black and black/red ones.

I will have to say I never even knew of this show till I started watching this build progress and I am now freaking addicted to the show 100% I have every episode set to record on the DVR.. It is hilarious!

We did not do Kat's car. American Racing did the wheels for Rob's car, maybe they did Kat's too. We actually filmed an episode of us delivering the car to Rob and then he was supposed to race Big in his 300C for titles. From what I understand Big backed out last minute so it was not ready in time to air, and there was no other story line.:mad: Maybe it will pop up somewhere. You will be seeing alot more of the car soon!;)

I stopped buy Robs Fantasy Factory and checked out the current state of the Rogue Status car. Its still in pretty good shape considering all the hell its been through..(Gumball, Bullrun, D1 drift event...) It has had a few issues.. like the trans had to get rebuilt, the airride is too finnicky, and the motor is just to powerful for him. So he leaves it at his factory. He plans on building a giant box (like a Hot Wheels) box and putting the Camaro in it. lol. Im telling him to send it back to me... we'll get rid of the air ride and trade out his motor for a stock LS7. I think he's going to do that... but in the meantime.. it still runs pretty good (I drove it today)... and the Satin paint has held up pretty good. (considering he never washes it)... what a prick...lol.

I think so... at least for the drift event. But really im not sure. I know we have plans to run mine and his cars for season two.... but who knows...

Still one of my favorite 69's out there. The new show looks like it is going to be solid. I don't know why, but Rob's sense of humor speaks to me. He has nice taste in cars too.

Good to see you posting here. It was awesome getting to see and hear Rob's car in person at the Fantasy Factory and of course it was fun hanging out with you and BSing about cars. The car looks killer (like you said, despite the hell it's been through) and I can't wait to see what the revised version looks like. Should be a lot more practical but still pretty insane.

I just wanted to update all of you that are following this thread. Rob's camaro is in the latest issue of Rides magazine and it will be featured on Fantasy factory Sun Appril 26th. on MTV. From the previews it appears that Rob is Racing the camaro against Ryan Shecklers new Ferrari! Should be a great episode. It also looks like the camaro has a little traction issue, we'll have to see what happens!

I saw that preview last night, ive been waiting to see it on the show but all ive seen is a quick shot if it in the background of the factory parked next to Robs tahoe. That should be a good episode for sure, hopefully Rob mops the floor with rich kid sheckler and his store bought "supercar"!! lol

Yeah we'll see. The camaro makes good power it looked like it was smoking the tires in the preview, that makes it hard to win any drag race. Not to mention I have no idea if Rob knows how to drive!

I read somewhere that they either pulled the higher HP motor in favor of a more street friendly version or drastically detuned it...

At this point it still has the Procharged 383, but there has been talk about sending it back for an N/A LS conversion. It would cruise a little better in LA!

To answer the question.....

No... Rob can't drive. lol. They only ran 1/8 mile runs... and Rob would lift midway through the run because the tires would light up....lol. He said if he was ahead of the Ferrari... he was afraid that when the tires started spinnin.. he was going to spin out infront of the Ferrari so he's lift. lol. He had a lot of fun though... But he is still scared of the car.:lol:

the man gets attacked by a shark on purpose and is scared of a Camaro! lol I Love it!

I just saw the episode...another great piece of TV history! The camaro looked great on the big screen!
