Looks good! Will you be putting a mesh in the opening or some sort of screen/grill?

Hi Trey,

Yes, I've got the billet gilles and the mesh pretty much exactly the same as Razor below!

Thanks! Ron

I am not sure if you are aware, but if not, that coating on the Wilwood rotors need to be removed before driving. I didn't remove it on mine and all that junk imbedded into my pads after the first time hitting the brakes...

Just an FYI if you didn't know

Awesome build !!!

Wow, thanks for the heads up Jason!

Wilwood claims the coating is removed in the bedding process, and is normal.

Progress on dressing engine accessory kit, etc. Blackheart headers did NOT fit out of the box as they advertise.

With big block headers you need to use the correct offset big block frame stands that the factory used, or the headers have problems with the steering box. I believe the stands moved the engine to the passenger side and slightly forward.

Engine looks great!

Thanks, I did confirm I am using OER correct frame stands and cross member that move setup to passenger side, etc. (pass frame stand is 1 inch shorter, cross member has offset tab mount for trans, etc). My BBC is also standard height deck. I think the issue is Blackheart toutes this setup will work but all of their pictures are with the 1-7/8 primaries. These are 2 inch primaries but said to fit "out of the box" on 67-69 BBC Camaros (only) over at protouring dot com. I had heavy contact with PS box, medium contact with drop link on pass side, and light contact with mini-starter already clocked. I can't imagine they would ever fit with a stock starter. No idea why this setup would have so much contact on passenger side when made exactly for 67-69 Camaro BBC only. Part number for everyone is BH13182.

The Hooker super comps I had didn't fit on my big block 69 Camaro, ending up with Lemons. Larger tubes (2.125") and cleared everything easily, as well as better ground clearance.

Unfortunately they're probably a wait right now, and definitely more money.

I stayed with the 1 7/8" BH13181's and fit great
