Is there somewhere i can go to see some higher resolution shots of the engine? Everything looks great and all business.

The owner comes on here from time to time, but he's not a registered member.

They are from Ring Brothers. They had 1 set left over from prototyping the tail lights for Razor and those are it.

All of that linkage is mechanical art. Beautiful car.

I think so too, and I couldn't help but play with it. lol So for the fun of it, I took a couple of quick little videos of how it works:

Mario, its Plasticoat

Awesome build. I love the Kinsler setup. Will the Camaro have a standard front end or RS setup? The tailights are designed after std non-RS and look very nice and clean. Just curious if the owner was going to carry that over to the front end as well.

XcYZ 03-16-2009 07:48 PM

It will have the standard grill, an Endura bumper, and Marquez front marker lights.

Beegs 03-17-2009 05:59 AM

Everytime I check this thread I have to put a bib on. My wife thinks it's strange how I just sit, stare and drool!

Paint is deep and straight, headers are tucked up perfect, the Kinsler linkage is way bada$$, stance is dead nuts, fit and finish...well what can you say...it looks perfect!

Kurt and Scott, you have done an amazing job on this car.

As always I look forward to more updates...can't wait to see it in person.

Camaro Performers Magazine has officially "licked the door handle" of this car and will be doing a full feature on it as soon as it's done and running.

In other words.. DIBS!!!!!!!!

This car and builder deserve the recognition.

dplenzig 03-17-2009 08:22 PM

That is an awesome build.

Does anyone know if Ring Brothers will be making and selling those taillights, they are the nicest i've seen.

Daren

tony byram 03-17-2009 08:46 PM

Steve, is Camaro Performers going to do an article on Jesse Greenings 71? You can do a back in black issue! Highjack off.

I've asked a couple times and I don't think so. I talked to Mike Ring at Sema and he acted like I could get a set but I've never had any luck since.

Well Shiznit....

Here I am once again getting excited about ANOTHER 69 CAMARO buildup...But ya know, I've realized something, there's a reason there are so many 69 Camaro PT builds: They just flat out look BAD...

And even though this one may share a few ideas, maybe a partial parts list, and some other tricks with a few other 69's, as you watch the build progress, you can't help but smile as you see it establish it's own personality and attitude, stepping away from any possible labeling of it as just "ANOTHER 69 CAMARO"...

Even as a HARDCORE Chevelle guy, a Chevelle WAGON guy none-the-less, I can honestly say that I could follow along to these bad ass builds forever, even if they were all 69 Camaros from here on in...

Congrads on a BEAUTIFUL car...

I like the use of dark paint on the non-shiny surfaces; even on the best looking intake on the planet. That trunk treatment is also very cool.

Very understated style. So much so that the car looks like it was 'factory built' ... a dream factory run by Kurt, Troy, Chip, Alan to name just a few.

tones2SS 05-27-2009 11:12 AM

Does Autocraft have any photos of the car finished. I would really like to see them.
Again, great job guys!!!!!:hail:

Dang! one pic? come on Scott, what do we have to do, beg?

Pretty Pleeeease.

XcYZ 05-28-2009 05:28 AM

lol, that's all I have which is what Kurt sent me. I never got a chance to get back to Autokraft to take pics (and drive the car) before it was shipped. I really wanted to, but just couldn't make my schedule work.

Hey Kurt, we need more. :D

How much for 22 minutes of alone time with that engine bay? I was caught at work trying to get an extension cord to power my laptop into the bathroom upstairs.
Love that intake!

Uh...build that intake!

Anvil could make plenty 'O $$$ just selling the individual runners as your kickoff to 'Gifts for Gearheads' week on the website.

:D

That is a nice looking car.
Gonna look even better with the spoiler on.
Great job!!
