Do you think you have her done by Good Guys Pleasanton at the end of August? We're going to road trip it up there and would really like to see your car.

I have got the SpeedTech Frame as well with Stainless Steel Works headers from Speedtech and Power Master Starter. I have the Milodon Oil Pan with remote oil filter, which I am planning to replace in the future. So could you please post the part number for the Autokraft Oil Pan? Was it an easy install as far as interferance with other parts goes?

John510 04-14-2012 10:13 PM

The pan was from www.autokraft.org

I do not know the part number but they only have one. It fits perfectly and doesn't hit anything.

John510 04-15-2012 06:58 PM

Manifold is ready! I get it Tuesday. :wow: :cheering:

Absolute was able to fit the column in today. Not sure if I want to paint the polished ring black or leave it polished. What do you guys think? I also took a drive down to Cupertino today to meet Jamie Krogdahl and pick up my manifold. Super cool guy and beautiful manifold. There are only 7 of these babies in the US! Im going to try and get it installed Friday.

Leave the ring polished to match the intake rings. Remember......Contrast, LOL. By the way, the intake is Bitchin!!:hail:

Friday? That's a long time to keep us waiting. :(

John510 04-20-2012 02:17 PM

Well I have some more updates. The manifold is giving me issues. The flanges need to be removed and angled upward in order for it to clear the alternator and sanden. DOH!!!! The headers fit perfectly however I may get different valve cover since I fear the carbon ones might melt. The brakes are installed and look good. Everything will be under the dash even the brake lines. Remote reservoirs will be hidden in the cowl panel that way the firewall will stay perfectly smooth and clean.

Doesn't fit but Jamie from Ozmo is going to fix this for me.

Here is a shot of the headers and intake mounted. Firewall looks so much cleaner without all of the brake parts showing. Sexy!!!

Hey John - Absolutely love the underhood design and execution! A couple questions for you - do you know what the inner cooled intake temps will be on a TT set up and are those within spec for a carbon intake? Also, what boost PSI are you planning on running? I believe that's still a crate motor/stock compression right? Finally will exhaust route clear steering shaft - have you got that far in your planning?

You're on a roll Bro. I can't wait to see this one in person...

The intake is made with high temp resin and can handle the heat at at least 30 psi. It was pressure tested at 100psi. I am unsure on the intake temperature. Waste has a 7psi spring. Don't plan on going over the 7psi since the block is stock. I figure with the cam and 7psi I should still be around 600rwhp which is enough for me. I don't really need an insane amount of hp for a street car. The down pipe should clear the steering shaft no problem.

Now I hope my Anvil fenders don't melt!

Looks awesome John. That intake is sweet. What column ring is that? I'm still trying to find a nicer one for mine.
