I know Ryan is gonna give me some grief for my photography skills :D but here is a quick shot of the rear seat that are getting fitted.

Raj, those really look good. Did the same guy in Tacoma that did your front seats do the backs? Are the backs two separate pieces? How are you mounting them? I know a lot of questions but this is my next step also. Looking great:thumbsup:

Thanks Lenie -- these were made by a local guy that did my interior, he did use the fronts as a guide. They are fastened from behind and underneath the car. If you need any information if you still have my number give me a shout or just PM me and I can send it to you again.

And forgot to mention each seat is two different pieces.

Sorry Raj, I have a question too. Not ready for interior yet, but since we're on the subject, I'll ask. I'm going to be using Recaro's too. Are your rear seats just Recaro buckets with the headrests removed? And if so, after removing the headrest, did you have to do anything special to remove the hardware that held the headrests? I want to do the same, but I'm a little skeptical to buy 2 more Recaro's just to remove the headrest, then have to get the headrest hardware removed and then recovered.

No problem at all Marcus -- the rears aren't a set of Recaro's, the interior guy traced out the front and fiberglassed a set of rears. They are narrower than the fronts because of the wheel tubs. I did take a look at my fronts the headrests are easy to remove if you go that way but you would still have to get a new set of seat jackets if you remove the hardware that the headrest lock into. If you do choose to go that way I am sure that Ron at JJ Custom Interiors can make you a set without the headrests but you are probably better to get a set of rears made to fit your car rather than trying to fit a set of fronts to your car. I did have Ron stich the Recaro logos for me when he did my fronts so they matched.

Car looks awesome. I love the big meats and offset wheels.

I'd throw a spoiler on it if it were my car. Just my $0.50. Looks "naked"

The car looks awesome. Congratulations. I was wondering if you had any shots of the completed audio set up? I remember you saying the mid-range speakers still needed the grilles made.

Qdiesel 09-13-2012 02:33 PM

Simply stunning and I've never heard an LS sound like that!
