Got the wheels and took a few pics. I really like them. Also, here a few pics of the frame. Suspension parts should be done soon. Control arms are being built now as well as coilover perches. It's coming along slowly.

Trust and believe, it's not him. It's me and the money flow. He's being very patient with me, which I am very appreciative for. Getting the garage built slowed me down and also, here are two pics of the biggest reason. My 3 1/2 month old son. We welcomed him 1-12-12. Been paying hospital and doctor bills since that day. The second pic is him playing Words With Friends on the iPad. Well, he drooled on it more than anything. LOL!! That's awesome Marcus, that's a big piece of the build finished! |
Talked to my frame guy today and everything is finished. IRS is complete. He's having one last problem with the rack-and-pinion. He said, because of the billet drop spindles, he's having some difficulties lining up the steering arms with the splines on the rack-and-pinion. They hang to low and are hitting the inside of the wheels. :( :( He said he just about has it figured out and he'll be done.
|
Ummmmm we need some pictures Marcus :unibrow:
You must be freaking out!! |

Give me a call Marcus and I'll tell you how I made the steering arms clear. Congrats on the progress!
|
Thanks for all the help Ron. I got the pics. That helped alot. I will forward this to my builder. Once again...you have came through for me.
|
No sweat Brother. Send me a pic of the set up when you get a chance?
In addition to the pan fitting, also make sure he puts a bumpsteer gauge on the car before he sends it to you. He could make the arms fit, yet the car could do funny things during spirited driving. He does race car fab, so he'll know... http://www.google.com/url?url=http:/...ed=0CCkQygQwAQ |
Good to hear Marcus. We need pics when you get your frame back.

I just wanted to post a Thanks for the engine I bought from Marcus. Your a stand up guy and your Chevelle is going to be badasss. Marcus is a good guy and I would definitely deal with him again.
If anyone is in the DFW area check out Killer Ridez, I got a tour of their shop and it was amazing. I wish I could afford to have their shop do my car! Hahaha. Thanks again to you Marcus and the guys at Killer Ridez! |

Small update:
My frame is finally off of the jig table and is ready for some final welding and sanding. Hopefully I will have it in my possession with the next few weeks to a month. Final pics when I pick up the frame and it is all cleaned up. But, for now, here are a few sneak peeks. As usual, sorry for the poor quality pics. My builder sent me these from his iPad. That's the same as a cell phone, huh. Again, better pics coming soon. Let me know what you think.
