Thanks everyone, it's been a whirlwind of activity on the car lately, we had 4 guys on it at once plus the upholstery guy mapping things out on Fri! :willy:

Thanks Ron, The packaging of the M/C reservoirs, pedal assemblies, 8" engine setback and providing a very good ergonomic seating position for the 6'3 owner of the car was very challenging!
Earlier in the thread there was a side shot, but that was before the door extensions and front spoiler extensions but it does show ride height.

Looks awesome Steve, unbelievable workmanship!

EBMC 04-24-2012 08:15 AM

All of the side electric windows installed and adjusted (always a fun job!) The A-piller mods hide the ugly weatherstrip channel pretty good .

Great work guys.

EBMC 05-19-2012 09:58 AM

A few detail shots of front spoiler and air induction. Were just about complete with all plumbing, A/C and electronics. We powered up the electrical system yesterday and performed initial check on everything. Our big hurdle is getting the interior done in time for Columbus, but were making progress.

How much more do we have to endure before you can reveal the whole car:willy: :willy: :willy:

Each tease you post shows some stellar attention to detail :wow:

Rick D 05-19-2012 11:20 AM

Looking good Steve, can't wait to see it done and a FULL shot of it

Bucketlist2012 05-19-2012 08:39 PM

I am going by this week..

I have been very sick, but I am needing to see the car in person..

His work is just crazy Sweet...:hail:

So I am going to see it with my own eyeballs...:lateral:

EBMC 05-20-2012 10:32 AM

Thanks everyone! We won't be posting any full shots until it's complete (hopefully soon!) The interior fab is the most time consuming task lately, but it's getting there.

Quarters

Any chance you still have the quarters you replaced? I just need the area where the artificial vents are right in front of the rear wheels. I am grafting it into my quarters. If you do have them, how much for the left and right side sections. No need to ship the entire quarters if you don't mind cutting the sections out.
Thanks!!

No, the old parts are long gone.

EBMC 05-30-2012 05:25 PM

We just scaled the car... Exactly 50/50 weight distribution at 3358 lbs. We still have some interior to go in (100-150 lbs?), but shouldnt change the distribution much. The car is running, hydraulics bled and besides windows and door poppers, the electrical finished. We will be posting some pics in the next couple of days.

youthpastor 05-30-2012 09:03 PM

way to get it done under the time crunch....no drama before Columbus?- no 5 AM final build?

Oh, we're far from done! Still fabbing interior panels and modifying seats and I haven't driven it yet. :willy:

FETorino 05-31-2012 09:57 PM

Just sayin

EBMC 05-31-2012 10:45 PM

I have a good excuse... I think. My photographer buddy has been on vacation for two weeks and I take horrible pics. Plus I'm too tired from working on this damn car ( I just got home and it's 10:45)! I'll try and get something posted in the next couple of days....really!

pw2006 06-01-2012 08:35 PM

Hey Steve- Great meeting you tonight. You were right when I asked about the build. You could have been here for days explaining it to me. Your attention to detail is amazing! Congrats and I can't wait to hear about Columbus!

EBMC 06-08-2012 07:56 AM

Were making good progress and almost have the outside and mechanicals complete. The interior should be complete next week (hopefully!)

Bucketlist2012 06-08-2012 09:15 AM

Tenacity is a great name for that car...

What it has taken to build it takes Tenacity...

And Steve Keefer, and a Boat Load of money...

Al Moreno 06-08-2012 10:11 AM

Love the color choices! Can you post a close up of the hood hinges. Can't make out the finish but it looks sweeeet :hail:

garickman 06-08-2012 10:42 AM

I don't know what other cars are going to Columbus, but from the looks of it, you should do very well.
