tones2SS 02-15-2012 05:25 PM

That is a great build. Very clean and mean.

waynieZ 02-15-2012 05:37 PM

Very Nice. The engine looks sweet in there. Who's and what kind of hose is that your using for fuel line?

gearbange 02-16-2012 07:06 PM

Dont know if your interested, but you can take a little laquer thinner on a rag and take the lettering right off those thermo hose clamps. Kind of makes them look even better IMO.

Thanks, we use thinner on all of the hoses and clamps to get the printing off once the car is completed. The green text definitely jumps out on the clamps and is rather ugly.

The car is off to the upholstery shop. I was able to steal a few quick shots as it was getting loaded in the trailer. The car looks pretty damn nice even with the mismatched wheels.

The plan for wheels will be the Forgeline SO3P with Black HTM finish

waynieZ 02-21-2012 07:59 PM

Those wheels are going to be sweet on there.

G-Body 02-22-2012 09:01 AM

Whats up with the fuel line why is is looped?
Seems flipping the fuel log mount would of fixed that problem if you wanted fuel line to come from the rear looks alot out of place.

What sizes are you running on the wheels/tires? Any more updates on the blue 67 Chevelle? Looks like it's coming together in the background.

The regulator is mounted on the firewall behind the passenger side head so the fuel lines visible are not running up the firewall and then draping over the motor. There is not enough room between the regulator and the back of the fuel rail to run a line direct. So, it is run to the front of the fuel rail.

We are running 18x9 and 20x12's on this car. The Blue 67 will hopefully be out this summer if we can find some free time to work on it. The car is probably about 2-3 weeks away from being ready for upholstery. It is just hard finding those 2-3 weeks.

Roadster Shop 02-25-2012 10:00 AM

A little photoshop version of the final look of the car. Mike and I decided on ditching the HTM look and going with the full polished SO3p.
