I went past this morning at 7:00 am and the truck looked like it was all cleaned and ready to role. Chris's Chevelle was sitting out front with a 69 Camaro. I hope the Nova is ready to go :hail: :hail:

Everything is loaded in both semi's. Putting the finishing touches on the Nova and trying to hit the road shortly!

With a 4" ride height at the rockers, it gets hard to see what is going on under the car, so here are a few shots from the bottom.

I'd like to clarify something. I apologize for calling the RS shop "Roger." I guess I confused the two with Ironworks. Phil, your work is top-notch and superb. Didn't mean to call you by the wrong name. Maybe I got that name from Ironworks or maybe not, shoood...I don't know. Not to discredit Ironworks in any way. I just read so many threads on here and confused the names, not the shops. Both shops are grand shops and are excellent builders in my book and would love to meet each of you some day. RS, again I apologize. Good luck on the Nova at Columbus. I know it will the cat's meow.

Tomorrow is sooo far away. More pics!

So upset that it was out of the shop getting the interior done when I dropped by. Bryan said it was "pretty cool," which doesn't even begin to describe it (what we've seen of it, anyway).

100K bet says that if I'd have had the '32 built by The RS --- I would have never had to touch one single bolt or nut.....

Any takers? :unibrow:

Hey Greg, in order for two guys to bet, there must be opposing views. I agree with you 100%. It may be impossible to find anyone to bet against you on this one. LOL!!

Blake Foster 07-08-2011 02:04 PM

This mechanical stuff could have been done better by a high school freshman shop class!

So far... no bet takers!

I think RS wanted the first showing of the completed car to be at GG Columbus. The pics of the build process may have been just for us and our pleasure as Lateral-g members. Most builds of the status are kept under wraps until it debuts. Just think...if a car is going to compete for SMOTY and other various, top honor awards and you let too much of your build get out, then the competiton knows exactly what to do to have a leg up on you and beat you. Just my opinion though.

i just posted about his in the smoty thread, but i see it not as the competition knowing but as the judges views change as the car is not BRAND new to them, i feel thats what happend to RB's fairlane last year...
