How have you built this car?

You appear to have no tools in your garage other than a jack and a chain hoist!

Incredible!

THIS BUILD IS REFRESHING!!! Wow - so cool. I went through each page checking out all the details and it's just so nice to see something going in a different direction. Good stuff - can't wait to see more!

FETorino 01-27-2013 09:50 PM

It's been too long since an update. Nothing exciting about an alternator but somehow your photo style makes it something I'm glad I saw.

How about some more of your stellar metal work. Got any more of that to show. :)

Haha, sorry but not any of that right now. IŽm trying to collect some of those green paperstuff, so I can buy the remaining parts. Takes awhile though.

It's a '70 Econoline. Thought it would be nice towing the Camaro with it. Having trouble though finding out max towing capacity. There's no towing bar installed right now and I need those numbers to get the bar approved. Contacted Ford (US) but no answer.

What are your intentions for final finish or is that still evolving?

It looks so cool in that last picture with the van, tires all fat filling the wheelwells and the car being slightly short, squat and low... maybe a bit of lens distortion? It is almost a caricature or cartoon effect, but I really like it. Completely raw. Thank you for sharing your work.

Yes, it's a little lens distortion. I was thinking a two tone - black on top and brown on the sides. "Inverted Yunick" =)

Thanks!

Had to abandon the weber setup. Got hold of All Pro cylinder heads (cnc) with titanium valves. Raised intake runners didnŽt match my weber intake. Sold that setup and almost got all the remaining parts the motor was missing. The webers are cool, but this way the project took a big step forward (and gained approx 200hp). Nice air filter?! ;)

I would love to see a photo tour around your workshop.

SBDave 10-16-2013 10:53 AM

Incredible work as always! Did you document those bike builds anywhere online? Wouldn't mind checking them out if you did.

Webers...

.
Hi,

Great car .. great engine .. great TLC job reviving ... Great Garage !... and your talent is second to none...

Oh... Webers set-up! I have a friend who was going with that kind of set up too, however .. he discarded after found out that Webers were a real pain to keep up.

I love those Webers too, as Alfa Romeo, my previous love, were much more into Webers. You need to have specific vacuum gauges to measure the effecticeness / fine tuning.

For fun , I built these meters to handle 6 Webers in a Countach V12, It was a real headache !
