I will drive it like I stole it! The owner will be entertained with all that power & tq.. It will be tough to get it to hook up ..

SLO_Z28 06-26-2012 04:29 PM

So this car is getting one of those super dooper rear ends too? Those wheels are sexy!

72Z/28 08-07-2012 02:43 AM

Any update on this beast?:D

Cris@JCG 08-22-2012 07:59 AM

Here is a small update... We had to go back to the drawing board on the sub-frame rails & re-design them.. but now everything is looking good.. the rack n pinion has clearance for the steering shaft... We have motor mounts for LS engine.. The frame rails were to narrow... so we opened them up one inch per side... & the main reason for a re-design on the frame rails was to optimize the fabrication of the frame rails .. we cut our fab & assembly time down to 50%...

Cris@JCG 08-22-2012 07:11 PM

Thanks Marty! Currently my plate is full here @ the shop.. I have a SEMA build going on & a car that I am getting ready for Optima Street car Challenge.. SO this 69 is moving .. but not @ the pace we would have liked.. But after SEMA we will be full steam ahead on this one..

Are you still using the 99-02 camaro uca, lca, and spindle?

How narrow is your sub compared to a stock sub?

Your work looks great!

Al Moreno 08-23-2012 09:30 AM
