you guys are killing me......

toddshotrods 12-24-2011 06:18 AM

Even though I knew that this thread was going to be more hang out/have fun than car build, I am simply amazed at where this has gone and seems to be going!

You guys really should have talked to TLC or Speed and put this out for the world to experience. Pitch - show them the thread, and tell them this is what happens when Greg does a "few tweaks", now he's doing a full build - just imagine where it will go!

Really, Rodger, how tall are you?

Anyway, Greg, you're gonna get a HIGH quality build, if you're expectations are TALL, it's gonna be BIGGER than what you could ever expect.

Okay -- go back to page ONE - then scroll down.... eventually you'll see what looks like a wheel.... if you get a magnifying glass out and peer long and hard at the little picture there - you'll see "HRE". Not "Intro".

19's and 21's -- HRE Wheels.... Not Intros

:wow: :willy:

Oh I knew they were HREs....... you took the bait....... I was curious of the size. Awesome build you have going there. For a Chevy its going to be pretty nice. Especially with those Intros.

We are also looking at 20's and 21's. They will only make the 943RL 20, 21, and 22's. But could do a custom 19 if needed.

Ah -- Rodger that shows you how short my memory is - because we just had that whole 20 and 21" size discussion today! DOH!

FETorino.... I tricked you - we're going with Intro Vintage - 'cause the other guy thinks that's what they are....

I looked at the rendering, but thought maybe you had opted for a retro vibe instead. i will assume that the Intro in the pics are for mock up purpose.

Yes, as mentioned I saw the renderings and pics posted. Then I saw the shop pics and thought maybe there had been a change.

Great looking project guys.

Really looking forward to seeing the finished engine bay.

You really have some tuff competition out there that all have done some awesome stuff. I am sure you will come up with something new and cutting edge.

Can't wait to see it in person at Sema 2012

We have lights.

Headlights x 4 -

We will have to do a few mods to get them to fit properly.

The taillights are from a Lotus Elise. The headlights are made by JW speaker. They come in 5.75" and 7" diameters. They are an LED headlight that uses 2 Watts for each light when on. Ironworks will begin selling these in the next few weeks. I'm working on doing a comparison install with them in my wife's Jeep.

Here is a video from Harley Davidson that shows a closer view.

Awesome! Jw Speaker products are nice! There a local company and make some great products. I am going to be using the Harley Screaming Eagle headlights on my project and jw speaker also makes them.

Cant wait to see this thing done!
