:hairpullout: Please, more pics !!!!

Roadster Shop 04-08-2013 12:27 PM

Sorry to leave everyone hanging! The car has been at the upholstery shop for a few weeks and we didn't post any pics before it left. Here are a few. Didn't get too many good shots of it outside unfortunately. Once it comes back from upholstery we will put the wheels on and get some good beauty shots to post up. We are shooting for an early May completion.

PasiR 05-29-2013 06:03 AM

Any final pics coming??

Roadster Shop 05-29-2013 09:49 AM

The Fairlane is at upholstery and expected to be completed this week. We will post up some pics once it returns.

waynieZ 05-29-2013 10:07 AM

I can't wait to see done.

Roadster Shop 06-05-2013 02:54 PM

The Fairlane came back from upholstery yesterday and is looking real good. Dave Vos did a killer job on the upholstery. The customer wanted a blend of the original interior with a street rod flair to it.

We are wrapping up the assembly and machining a few new trim pieces for the car. I will post more as is progresses.

The piece of luggage is actually just a cover for the spare tire.

I don't know if I would go that far! It is a nice car, but there are plenty of cars worthy of that title. I appreciate the compliment though!

We are machining a trim piece for the upper radiator close out panel that will have a similar design to the side trim on the car.

http://i563.photobucket.com/albums/s...ps22fc2098.jpg

Also machined a few RS emblems in the style of the fender emblems.

Let's see those billet poverty hubcaps

RS-Chris 06-17-2013 09:56 AM

Trim panel and emblem finish off the engine bay nicely (although so does a Kaase Boss 9...)

strtcar 06-17-2013 10:14 AM

214Chevy 06-17-2013 11:13 AM

Awesome!! You guys are having a lot of fun with that machine I see making all of those fine billet pieces.

waynieZ 06-17-2013 11:40 AM

:shakehead:

Now if it had the Biscayne rims on it............

strtcar 06-17-2013 08:17 PM

^^^^^^ what he said.

FETorino 06-18-2013 12:04 AM

:wow: :wow: You couldn't have executed the super sleeper any better:trophy-1302:

I love the dog dish look on early cars. I'm more into the aggressive look of a black poverty cap look, but this thing looks like it just rolled off an assembly line in some 63/2013 fusion world. I'm digging it. Now he needs a cammer road race version in black to go with it.
