Decent race? |

GREAT race, the last 50 laps were so tight. On a side note Sieg, I raced karts with Tander regularly, and Wincup and Winterbottom at Nationals, they were just young fellars coming through and I was already old. |
Frickin stellar! When are you bringin it to the States, California specifically? :)

Todays update, made a new pedal face for the fly by wire pedal.
I used a punch and dye to create the raised holes in the stainless to look like the Willwood pedals. Attachment 42678 Attachment 42679 Attachment 42680 Attachment 42681 Attachment 42682 Attachment 42683 Attachment 42684 |

The Fabricator with Thunder from Down Under!
Nicely done! They look great! |

"All this took place just seconds behind an equally intense fight for the lead that eventually went to the Mark Winterbottom/Steve Richards FPR Pepsi Max Falcon ahead of the Red Bull Commodore of Jamie Whincup and Paul Dumbrell." :underchair: Greg that pedal fab look awesome. Nobody will ever guess it didn't come as part of the set. Sometimes that is a shame. You see a finished car and don't even realize the time that went into details such as that. Thanks for sharing it. Too bad it's on a Camaro:lol: :underchair:  |

No V8 Supercar in Texas... WTF...

It was a very poorly attended event… so it doesn't surprise me a bit that it's not running again. You can only imagine the cost of the transportation - the crews - the air fares etc to ship this stuff all around -- so they have to sell some tickets -- or get some major air time. I don't thing they did either. |

I have been working on the dash pad, what a piece of $hitt. If there is one part I hate in a 69 Camaro it's the dash pad.
I have had all sorts of problems with the fit up to the DSE dash, I am not sure if the pad is the problem or the dash. So I have made it fit, it will be covered in leather so it should come out fine. First I cut it up, then I filled it and shaped it with Sika Flex. Attachment 42739 Attachment 42740 Attachment 42741 Attachment 42742 Attachment 42743 Attachment 42744 Attachment 42745 My other big hate it the waviness on the leading edge of the dash pad as it's held down by about 8 clips. I had the boys at Rowe & Sons make me up a leading edge from metal, to hold it nice and straight. Attachment 42746 Attachment 42747 |

Now working on building out the area's around the A pillars, another terrible fit. Attachment 42749 Attachment 42750 |
Greg a lot of this aftermarket stuff is just garbage. That's a lot of work to make something fit but the end result will be perfect!
|
Sika Flex is bad ass stuff… always used the various "adhesions" on the boat. The strongest will rip fiberglass in two before it lets go.
Nice job mate! |
Its looking good Greg.

nice work Greg, dashes do look bad

OK, the engine is alive.
The basics of it are: RHS block. Mast motor sport black label heads, Titanium valves, springs to suit. Manley LS7 ultra light crank. Manley ultra light H beam rods. T&D rockers Wiesco ceramic coated pistons with weight reduction. Kaytech high flow oil pump. OZMO twin throttle body carbon fiber manifold. twin 92mm throttle bodies. RHS piston squirter's. Holley dominator ECU with LCD interface. It has been built by Dave Crumes Race engines & tuned by Dave Hart Race engines. Dave Hart has used the OZMO manifold and the Dominator ECU before and has a good understanding of them. It was run up today on Dave Harts swamp boat fan, and they put the horsepower at around 775. I was going to run it on the dyno as well, but decided to wait until it's in the car, here in OZ.
