Fine tuning a few details
http://i616.photobucket.com/albums/t...2015%20001.jpg http://i616.photobucket.com/albums/t...2015%20003.jpg http://i616.photobucket.com/albums/t...2015%20004.jpg Hoping to spray sealer on the car next week with some color. As funny as the Wedding chapel may seem for doing body work, it has worked out amazingly well. The dust in the shop is minimal and the temp inside the tent during the hot days is 10-15 degrees cooler since the sun is not beating on the roof. And we can rent it out on the weekends for parties and festivals for some extra cash. It might be the best 600 bucks I have ever spent on Amazon. That was shipped........... HAHAHA |

That is what I should do and throw a wall a/c unit in it. Humidity is killing me right now.

What a tease! Black interior you say....man it's going to look great!
Have you taken it outside yet? |

The painted panel....inner fender apron? I saw the pic of the round thing on a stick outside but this looks to be finished product. I'm just pumped to see this come together!
At least with this thread an update is an update, I used to get excited about a wicked camaro that's supposedly at CorteX....wah, wah, waaah.:goggles: |
Here it is in the sun. This is a round inner fender from an C-10 truck we had out back. We sprayed white PPG sealer under the orange to make it even brighter. It pops quite well.

pop is right! I had to put my sunglasses on to look at the computer screen.

We started painting parts on Friday. Color is pretty loud but works awesome with the intention of the car.

Wow Nice!

Looks good! How are you going to keep the pearl looking the same when painting the panels separately?

The pearl in the clear intercoat. I know you are measuring and counting coats but I have had mixed results with pearls spraying panels separately. I am just wondering how so I can improve my results.

My painter is confident we will be fine. I hope he is right. He usually is. |
 Thanks for the reply, I can't wait to see when it's done! Keep up the hard work.

Different paint colors all over the rotisserie is a badge of honor - why try to protect it. LOL

Roger your guys are doing a great job on this one.
There is a local guy around here that just finished his Orange Tri-Five and it has received a ton on Internet & Magazine publicity. One of the reason could be the fact that orange photographs so well or it could also be because he beats the living crap out of the car. https://scontent-ord1-1.xx.fbcdn.net...34526180_o.jpg Quote:
