Looks awesome!
What kind of suspension are you running? Ive got the Speedtech tracktime kit on mine and their frame stiffening kit also. Unfortunately I missed something when I ordered my rims so I have to run 1/4 spacers around to clear the calipers. No issues in the front but its a little too tight in the rear, havent decided on a solution just yet. May end up buying another set of rear wheels, always good to have some burnout wheels  |

Had a buddy weld some bends and couplers to the intercooler.

Excellent build!

Looking awesome! It's sitting just right.

That looks bad ass. What size rims? Ballpark price on the rims? They work perfectly IMHO. WHAT SIZE TIRES Too? Lol. Sorry, But that’s my dream car. I so regret selling my last one.

Thank you very much. They are 18x12s with 335/30 in the back and 18x9s with 255/30 in the front. They are about 550$ per rim now I believe. |

Thanks, Jim |

Yeah, quite affordable. Unfortunately when our Swedish government have taken their piece by taxes and customs they are almost up to double that :warning: |
love the updates, looks fantastic
|
One last question (for now, LOL) what kind of rims and model? Those are Weld wheels, correct? I think those would look good on my 70 Camaro if I tub it
thanks, Jim |

Well, got started with a new much better tunnel over the weekend.
Will do the sides tomorrow and then take out engine and trans to finish it of and make the panel towards the firewall  https://rejsa.nu/im/user/8648/2020-1...5e451209e.jpeg |
R
Engine and trans came out yesterday, before I put them aside for a while I decided to get the hydraulic throw out bearing set at spec .200” for my dual disc clutch.
Installed the clutch and started measuring, had to remove some material from the plate between bearing and transmission to get correct play. https://rejsa.nu/im/user/8648/2021-0...19219f8fd.jpeg https://rejsa.nu/im/user/8648/2021-0...cbdaef170.jpeg https://rejsa.nu/im/user/8648/2021-0...0a720fd02.jpeg https://rejsa.nu/im/user/8648/2021-0...74bc81f81.jpeg |
Got the tank mounted and a fuelfilter before the hoses got routed.
When the motor gets installed I just have the hoses into the rails and back to regulator left to route. Been busy a while when building a 489 bigblock for a buddy, hopefully that one is gonna be done in a couple of weeks. Next weekend is a snowmobile trip with some buddies  https://rejsa.nu/im/user/8648/2021-0...eace46490.jpeg https://rejsa.nu/im/user/8648/2021-0...603d6d478.jpeg |
Hello!
I had to make some wheelspacers to clear calipers to the spokes. It turned out to be a little tight to the quarters, a buddy came up with the idea to move the disc and caliper instead so I had some spacers made. https://rejsa.nu/im/user/8648/2021-0...ab3cedcc0.jpeg Ordered some new longer stainless ARP hardware to get a longer unthreaded section, had to shorten them a bit. https://rejsa.nu/im/user/8648/2021-0...a916ba3f5.jpeg https://rejsa.nu/im/user/8648/2021-0...51eed1e7a.jpeg Much better and fully centered in the tubs again, had to wipe them down and enjoy a beer :D https://rejsa.nu/im/user/8648/2021-0...8bb0f2b79.jpeg |
Nice work on the discs! I may need to use that solution.
Wow that old lathe brings back some memories, I put about 100,000 miles on manual lathes and mill's back in the day :superhack: |
|
That looks badass before they even painted it LOL
|
Installed the McLeod RXT clutch to the new transmission, T56 Magnum.
Hopefully I get the car back next weekend :hello: https://rejsa.nu/im/user/8648/2021-0...a105d5627.jpeg https://rejsa.nu/im/user/8648/2021-0...b0ccaf510.jpeg |
Nice...!! Gonna be sweet for sure.

Fenders are painted, he will paint the inside in the same semigloss black as the rest of parts for the frontend.
Left all of those today, radiatorsupport and Hood latch and all the small parts. Helped him push the car into spraybooth, so the doors will get painted tomorrow and then I can take the car back home :D https://rejsa.nu/im/user/8648/2021-0...bebf992ff.jpeg https://rejsa.nu/im/user/8648/2021-0...d3fdee5f4.jpeg https://rejsa.nu/im/user/8648/2021-0...200e67f0a.jpeg |
It that paint Marina Blue or something else? It looks a little darker than my old 66 chev SS. Maybe it’s just the lighting.

We had problems getting a good mix so we had some parts scanned and got a good match from that. |
The Chevelle is done at the painter, taking it home tomorrow to start assembly.
Got some help from a buddy with a loader today to lift the Impala upstairs until the Chevelle is done. Always nice to have more space during assembly :headspin: https://rejsa.nu/im/user/8648/2021-0...4ade88304.jpeg |
Towed the car back home yesterday and all the parts today.
Im gonna glue in the windshield tomorrow before mounting motor and trans. More space to move around now  https://rejsa.nu/im/user/8648/2021-0...abb35c69c.jpeg https://rejsa.nu/im/user/8648/2021-0...10eb49d92.jpeg https://rejsa.nu/im/user/8648/2021-0...8a8721a07.jpeg |
Looks great!

Some assembly required but making progress
Engine is almost done as far as wiring, will be controlled by a Fueltech FT550 with custom-harness. https://rejsa.nu/im/user/8648/2021-0...b57feb539.jpeg https://rejsa.nu/im/user/8648/2021-0...67bbdf1a9.jpeg |
Mounted and adjusted fenders and wheelwells today, looks alot better already :)
Gonna polish some stuff tomorrow before install. Also ordered the new ICON 102mm throttlebody from motion today, unfortunately the 90˚ will not fit my combination because of offsets. A buddy is gonna help me to design with my measurements with a reducer from 4” to 3” then have it machined. https://rejsa.nu/im/user/8648/2021-0...dedc17cbe.jpeg https://rejsa.nu/im/user/8648/2021-0...4f2cb57dd.jpeg https://rejsa.nu/im/user/8648/2021-0...d4707b6ea.jpeg |
Fantastic looking car!
