dont you dare lol, ive already nailed down a lime green and blue plaid that will be making its way into my car

WSSix 06-27-2021 07:12 PM

That green is fantastic. It really speaks to the outlaw and back dating nature of these cars that I love so much.

Sheck44 06-28-2021 03:11 AM

WT$%^%$# guys ... you are certainly NOT helping with my decision to keep this one or sell it and have the green one built

You guys are killing me ... :headscratch:

STAG RACK or SeaSucker

If you need a Sea Sucker I have one that I would be willing to part with as once I sold the Land Rover I no longer need it.

What frame did you build it with? Looks great!

Thank you and I used a Trek Farley fat bike frame which is the same as my other two bikes.

Jeff .... I can almost guarantee once I see this car in person in a couple of weeks it is unlikely I will part with it.

We will see, but like the speedster below you realize that going 'fast' or having 800Hp isn't what makes an amazing driving experience, this thing is an absolute blast to drive and the 911 should be even better.

Cant wait and we will see !!

This is why I wasn't that upset about selling the TA which had a 500hp 383 while keeping the 280hp 540i. I just enjoy driving the BMW more. I do miss rolling burnouts occasionally though :D

Those intake covers do look fantastic, Steve. Car appears to be coming along nicely.

LA Visit !!

Guys ... Good morning all
So, just got back last night from Los Angeles to see the car and all I can is WOW.
To say that the car in person was way beyond my expectations is an understatement. Nathan obviously has major OCD like myself and the attention to detail, quality, fit & Finnish is superb.

Here are just a few pics that detail the quality of this build ... Keeping in mind the car has NOT been cut/polished yet

Sheck44 08-05-2021 08:22 AM

LOL .... saw the green one in person ... NO comment right now !!

Video of the car, would be VERY difficult to give this one up for the green one. This one has so much character and vintage feel !!

Cheers
Steve

WSSix 08-05-2021 05:53 PM

no comment because you're trying to buy the green one too, right? lol. Your blue one is looking amazing. Will you be able to put a wide Euro style license plate on it or will it have to have a normal, modern one? I was just looking at the rear bumper thinking a modern one would look out of place. Glad you're excited and pleased with the build thus far, Steve.

fleetus macmullitz 08-05-2021 09:31 PM

Steve,

Maybe I missed it, but when is the projected finish?

Thanks Trey
Unfortunately I will have to place the normal plate on this car on te back, but will be 'avoiding' the front plate even though it's the law here ... :rules:

To keep both right now would be impossible for a couple of reasons. I have a couple of people very interested in taking the blue one but after seeing it in person it will be very hard to part with ... I'll have to decide in te next moth or so

SKIP ... Thanks for posting the Vid properly (need to figure out how to do that ! )
The car will be fully done in about 6 weeks

Interior has started by 'the guy' from >>>>>> , here is the custom roll bar getting wrapped in the beautiful leather we selected

Completely understand. Just giving you a hard time since you clearly have good taste. Both your car and that green one are great. There's no way in my mind you'd go wrong with either.

Keep the blue one long enough to get some miles and smiles out of it.

Ketzer 08-09-2021 06:19 AM

I am continually amazed at how fast you can get a project completed....while I fully understand the concept of "many hands make light work..." you seem to have a knack for finding the right team that will actually DO work...and do it right now!
