What's your plan for sound reduction?

There is an actual muffler and exhaust system UNDER the car and exiting out the back but the quick change. The big "lakes" pipes are blocked off.

By chance along the way have you found any internals for the lakes pipes?

I didn't look for anything to be able to use them 'open' because that would interfere with the O2 sensor for the EFI that is in the 'head pipe' position of the muffled exhaust. I didn't want the sensor offending the view of the 'lake pipes' in order to use it when they were open... since I figured I might actually open them for 15 minutes once or twice a year.... I'm okay with them just being blocked off. It will sound pretty rowdy with just the exhaust as is.

Headers look great Greg! Really like the lines... and the use of subtle bends instead of straight pipe.

Good plan.

I was curious because my buddy with the chop-top is looking for a way to run just the lake pipes.

Thanks!

Yeah --- I just didn't want to buy the usual Sanderson versions. The rest of the car has 'up graded' stuff on it -- so I felt the headers - which you really see, just like the paint etc - needed to be on par.

I'm not trying to build a show car or Riddler winner -- but I want it to be "mine" -- and not the usual 350 with a TH350 and a Ford 9".... Heck! It's already RED -- like you never see a red roadster! :D So with the hood sides off - and the 8 stack EFI -- a real shifter on the floor -- and the quick change etc IRS and the IFS and the headers not being out of the box -- it might look like a little effort was put in the build. Other than that - there's really not much you can do to a '32 Ford to make it "different" than the 900 other ones parked at any given show.
