JJ, it's looking great, I'm glad to see it moving along smothly. I love the dash.

Thanks Wayne.

I am not sure about the rims/tires from my Z06 Vette, but they do fit. :G-Dub:

Got the driveshaft in today.

1 step forward, 3 backwards.

The nicely ceramic coated exhaust doesn't fit with any rear tire I have, including the Boyds that were on the car.

Oi.

May just do turn downs after the muffler.

WHAT? I can't hear you... Betrayal made me deaf and dumb. :BlahBlah:

I swear, I hate this car. :bigun2:

Nice build, grendel. I have been sending you some PMs with questions over the last couple of weeks. Could you look at your inbox and shoot me some answers? It would be much appreciated!! Keep up the good work.

Started getting the interior together.

Also got the rear axle shaft back, so I can put all that to rest, too.

Little stuff now, like getting the Ride Tech cans into the trunk on the Ron Sutter brackets.

Still trying to hunt down a dash. I don't want to use repop stuff.

Dash.. ?. Gauge cluster or padded part? Imo they both suck. I'm still trying to come up with a better (maybe billett guage cluster, too pricey?) or design. I will most likely be doing my interior next year so with design in mind.....?????

I have a Dakota Digital gauge cluster and their carrier. Both are really good.

Looking for all the stock plastics and a dash pad.

So, we've spent some time trying to get the FAST EZ EFI 2.0 to run this motor. If you look back, you'd see that the Callies Magnum XL crank that started this whole build ( destroked LS2 to mimic a DZ302 in a Camaro) doesn't have a provision for a crank sensor. It was built to run a carb and distributor in a specific race class. FAST sent us a crank wheel and trigger for an SBC and we adapted it to the front of the pulley system.

Long story, short, it just doesn't work, even though FAST is positive it will.

I pulled the plug.

We're expecting a 416ci LS3 based Mamo Motorsports built motor on Wednesday. It will get the FAST XFI Sportsman EFI and keep the look I want in this car. We lose some RPM, we gain some weight and certainly gain about 125hp.

This destroked LS2 gets a GMPP front timing cover that takes a distributor. Might get dual quads that I have, might get something else, but I have a 31 Ford to put it in. I think it will bug some guys... it looks like a Ford motor, but has GM stampings on it? :)
