Dang!

Awesome work. I'm not sure if you already mentioned it but are you doing all this extra fab work because of the lower than normal ride height your going for or did it need to be done. I've got a full track time kit from Speedtech yet to fit to my 69 Camaro and would like stance like your going to have.
Cheers Luke |
Awesome fab skills!

Luke, sorry for the delayed response. Fab 53 is doing this extra work on the setup due to the desired stance I like. In order to have the car sit as low as I like, and to have the suspension fully functional (articulation, travel, etc), the large amount of Fab work was necessary. You will really love your Speedtech kit---I have the road assault kit on the front of mine and it works killer. Doug |

That's "hot rodding"....
It's like my '32 -- I'd never heard of a "stub axle" -- now I'm an expert in their replacement! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA |
Kinda wonder about the quality assurance at Speedway Engineering when both seals leak badly on a simple drive around the block after install. Is that the first setup they ever sold? That's got to be very frustrating to both you and Doug, and it's extra money for Doug due to labor costs. Sucks you have to pull the whole rear just to replace some seals. Hopefully we'll see you on the road soon Doug. You mentioned earlier that Ron's Dead Pool '69 has the same rear. Hopefully he doesn't encounter the same issue.
Doug, thanks again for firing up the 1700HP green beast at the Orange County show. You should've been selling clean pairs of underwear next to it. You'd have made a fortune. Un-freakin-real. |
I was concerned too Chris and spoke to Doug about it. Outside of Blake's Nova which doesn't have any issues, Doug has one of the very first units. Doug's axles and seals and just a bit different than my set up. Speedway has a good plan I think and the rear should be up and running pretty quick.
 |
Looks great. Thing is going to sit low. Jealous:thumbsup:
