Honestly I was impressed. Sounded better than I thought it would. The backpressure evened out the base tune and she idled very well; no tach but I'd guess below 1k. Dick thought it was very close.

Man Jeff, right after I stopped filming Dick hit the pedal a couple times. No confirmed tune on a new motor so we didn't rev it too much, but I had a$$ big grin on my face. I turned to Matt and said that's about the best moment I've had since I stared this build :woot: He, being the Optima pro, just smiled :lol:

Yep, after a summer of wrenching and fueling issues we finally got the boat out a couple times. Man I love the feeling of being airborne in three tons!

Hey Skippy! Been sitting on the sidelines while a little R&D testing was done. Parts should be back next week and installed and then we move forward. I'll do a write up once it's all said and done.
