For the stuff that needs service it is the Gate Power Grip clamps. For hoses that need to be serviced an regular worm gear hose clamp with heat shrink tubing over the strap to make it black. Keeps things clean looking. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Mark,
I really like the clean look of the rear of the car. Could you explain your rear spoiler choice (instead of say an adjustable rear wing) and how it works on track? Thanks. |

Like you said it looks clean. If I was building this to be a track weapon I would do a different rear spoiler. 99% of time I’ll just be driving this on the street. For the few open track day I do it will be fine. I would rather have it look stockish vs some “Ricer” wing on it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Curious as to why you haven't or when you're going to put a I.R.S on one of your Camaros Mark ?

Can you post the upper radiator hose part # please?

I’ve worked on a lot of IRS setups at GM and they are hard to get correct. I’m happy with my solid axles. Power hop issues. Breaking halfshafts and CV joints. Once you get to 800 plus Ft*Lbs a IRS get very big and heavy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Mark,
Leaving cost out of the equation for now, would you ever want to install a full frame chassis in a 1st gen? What would be your reasons pro or con? Thanks... |
If I missed it in here, my apologies. How do you normally handle your connections at the battery as far as any circuit protection and then where they (or it/positive) runs in to the engine bay for distribution?
BTW...thanks for always giving us a look behind the curtain and most importantly, the why you do things a specific way. |
