That's our motto. Sometimes you build them, sometimes you part them, sometimes you sell them. Either way good parts and deals are nice to have.

Here yah Go JJ.

You can reach me at 724- Five one 8 - one 5 zero 7 if you have any questions. We are going to start redoing the chassis soon if it doesn't go. The more time we spend on it, well you know what I mean. I think it's a good deal as is. I'm going to hopefully pick up a new tail gate tonight. We'll see if it's as advertised.

The holes did in fact line up from my last update, but it didn't make for a good picture. Now that the bed is bolted to the chassis and we can maintain the alignment, it's time to continue finishing the fab on the bed sides. One of the design ques is rocker exit exhaust. Because this project is flying along so quickly and I need more to do :sieg: simply cutting a hole and sticking the tubing through just won't work. I will post a screen shot of the design as soon as I tweak a couple things. Until then here is the start of the fabrication. The machined parts will follow. Lets call this the mounting sleeve.

The pattern I used for the sleeve was done in solidworks. I used a profile gauge to get the curvature of the rocker panel and then scanned that into the computer. From there I built the models and printed the templates for the sleeve and the cutout below. It worked surprisingly well!

Time to cut the hole and check the fit. No turning back now!

Love it, I can work with that. Time to weld it up and finish it off.

Now to do it one more time on the other side. Once the other side is done, I will take some as built measurements to adjust the models for the machined parts. Then it's off to the machine shop. Thanks for checking it out!

It looks good, nice job!

Holy crap, I didn't realize how long it has been since I posted an update. Progress has been made albeit slow. Summer is rough to make progress as well as getting my business up and going and trying to ship my Wheel Tek tools.

Enough excuses. After getting the exhaust sleeve in the rocker, it was time to make the mount for the rocker treatment that will be coming.

It is adjustable so that it will line up with the cab during final assembly.

Then we decided we wanted to finish off the rear wheel wells a bit. This turned into a much larger project than expected. Don't they all?

The bottoms have been left long to interface with the rear pan that is coming as well as the rocker treatments. I just moved over to the drivers side to make it match. Thanks for checking in!

This Thread Probably Dead

Well everyone, it seems Photobucket now wants $400 a year to allow third party hosting. Which means this build thread is dead. They're not going to get that from me and the thread is too long to rebuild. Not sure what I'll do from here. It was fun while it lasted.
