Well I'm glad a few people agree with me. Here is a rendering with modern wheels and gunmetal finish that Jody posted a long time ago.

Well, I love it just the way it is. I really like the way the taller 19 is filling the rear wheel well. I never really thought 18s were tall enough on those cars with those big ole wheel wells. I believe it could be lower also.

The sizes look right to me, and the color works just fine. Problem with the gunmetal center is if you miss by a few shades it realy looks like you screwed up!

The big question is, what does Jody think?

I think you can sum this car up with one word: stunning!

The paint is stunning.
The engine is stunning.
The wheels are stunning.
The car is Stunning!

I hate to say it, but the only thing that needs updating, and it's only because you have gone so far with the car, is the interior.

Shiny Side Up!

Love the wheels Jody!! Exactly the set I hoped you were getting. Perfect job.

I will have a set of those on my next car, no matter what it is....

I think you guys nailed it! I think the black wheel centers will play well off the black interior once it's on the ground. Agree that the rear needs to come down a little more... but the diamond edge detail in the wheels matches well with the high level of detail in every other area of the car. Just need a "Steven Rupp/lighted interior/shot from a ladder" pic to bring it all together in one visual...

btw I think the car should be nicknamed "Cialis" for obvious reasons!

i agree aswell the ass end def needs to come down some more. But then again it isnt my car so whatever you like. It will look good ethier way.

I love the wheels!

Completely different attitude from the old wheels.

How about an up close detail pic of those new shoes

What a difference a wheel makes

Are you taking the car all the way to Madison on the Power Tour Jody??

Forgeline 1 05-21-2008 08:00 AM

Jody,

I wanted to say thank you for choosing the new wheel style for this project.
It really is a beautiful car and all your hard work and passion shows.

We are proud to be the wheel of choice for such a high profile car.

Please keep us updated on how things progress with the car and I am sure we will be seeing a lot more Mali2ude this summer.

Let me know if there is anything at all we can do for you.

It's been a pleasure working with you and Frank.

Best regards,

Scott Main
