BMW has three browns that are similar. First two are Pyrite brown, second two are Marrakesh brown, and final two are Macadamia brown. I'm leaning towards Pyrite brown.

Nice colors

Pyrite has a dark flop to it in the shade. Almost looks black. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rx-UzFEiZz0

Thanks, that the info I can use. I don't think I like that very much.

I was going to say, I don't think Marrakesh would look good in the shade. I'm almost certain I have seen this color around here and it looks like pooh when there's no sun.

Have you seen Porsche's Cognac that they used on Panameras a generation ago? Might be too gold for your tastes, but I always thought that color was amazing.

Glad to see progress on the car.

I think I'm gonna have to go with a lighter color. I'm fine with the color being darker in shade, that's normal. But I would hate to end up with a color that only looks great at a certain angle in a certain light.

A couple other Porsche colors. First one is Chestnut brown metallic (color changes a lot depending on light and angle) and the last three are Copper brown metallic.

I think this is a great color for a Protouring build.

Ever think of white ?

Picking paint colors is the hardest decision. The copper-brown metallic is a gorgeous color. I really like your idea with the browns on your car. Think it will look stunning when done.

I agree Don, just isn't as brown as I originally had in my head. But I keep going back to this one anyway.
