Great for you. Come to NC and get a used meg RV moving house...bigger than mine real house and a hauler... they are all over here. Have some one drive it so you and the wife can take the back roads, This is not a gooseneck trailer conversation. That is for the working folks like me.

Greg, I for one don't care if you have two nickel to rub together or you are the richest guy in the world, I love that you come on here and tell it like it is, you help where you can (investing 101) I've heard of where you tell someone that wasn't asking for anything for free to come and get it it's yours!

You are one of the good guys and some day I hope to get to meet you and shake your hand, because from what I've seen and heard you would give your shirt or what ever to someone that needed it! I think you and bunch of other's are what make this the best site on the net!!!!!!

For some people they just don't get it!!

Thanks Rick!

In the last 3 or so years I've built complete cars for people that couldn't otherwise... My buddy that had a stroke so couldn't physically... and my brother in law that just doesn't have the time or the dough - so I picked up the tab and the many hours of work... as you know it ain't easy building this stuff.

Yes -- I believe in the Republican and Democratic system.... I generally vote Republican (although did vote for Obama! :( ) so that I can afford to be Democratic.:D I am always happy to donate stuff I'm not using -- or make an extra special friend deal on something. I'm more than thrilled that I am in a position to do that - because I know everyone may not be so lucky. And I've even sponsored a couple cars around here with parts or cash... I think it's just the right thing to do.

My brother in law just got his car ('69 Camaro) back on Sunday.... and I got my Nomad back too! Gave it to them to drive since their car was here for over a year (16 months to be exact).

Rudy's went from this....

They're pretty happy I can "afford" my time and my funds to help them out....

Your a solid dude Weld

And that comes from personal experience. Before I even ever met Greg he offered a sponsership to me. Unfortunately I didn't get the opportunity to take him up on it but you get the picture.

Greg, if you do need a driver...I'm just down the 405 and have my CDL. Haven't used it in awhile, truck drivers don't make enough money!

69znc, I'm a workin folk and got sucked into the thread, hell I even tried spending his money. He's got lots, big deal. He and just about everyone on here are car guys, some have money some don't. So ya got duped by a thread title, it's not the end of the world.:willy:

When I get back from Bonneville I'll start a thread on blue collar tow rigs,
no kidding. I'm in the market for a newer rig and would like some real world feedback.

Dan

The SALES PEOPLE are telling me that this will be registered as a RECREATIONAL VEHICLE and I shouldn't need a CDL... We'll see. I'm okay
with getting a CDL but that would be more based on what my INSURANCE man says I should have (he's a buddy). I'm not a guy that try's to make his own rules. I'm fine doing what is CORRECT.

I just learned something else I guess I'm not a working man. Good to know.

It sure feels like it every morning at 5:30 when I get up to head to the shop and every night when I get home at 6pm and I'm dog tired and fall asleep on the couch after dinner.

And just to be clear it is well established that Greg is NOT a "working man". Ok maybe 3 days a week when that trainer gets let in the front gate of the Weld compound and escorted up to the work out room on the 5th floor of the guest house for Greg and Gwen to do their work outs. But Todd told me he heard on good stock market days, Greg pays someone to do his sit ups for him. That's just what I heard.
