No, but I just threw your air cleaner away the other day.

That hurts Ron. You coulda got at least 2, maybe 3 bucks on craigslist for that and been able to meet another interesting person that your family could classify in the "stranger danger" category.

I think you meant XP12 front and XP10 rear?

If Ron Sutton has the time.. Maybe do a thread on brakes & put it on sticky.. Their is alot of information people need to be educated on that could help with brake set-ups.. I personally think 15" front & rear 14's are way to much brakes.. lots of rotational weight..

No Dave, mine actually has the more aggressive pad on the rear. That was the only way I could get any kind of rear brake, with the 49F/51R weight ratio, and 275F/335R tire stagger. The car still needs more rear brake, that is why I'm changing the masters.

Greg, I started out with 12" C4 brakes. Drag racing the car, and autoX, I thought it was the sh!t, stock pads, Dot3 fluid and all. I took it on my first road course, about 15 laps in, while doing my typical bonzi down the straight, came to the turn and no brakes, at all. Thank God there was a lot of run off, couldn't even get to slow down. That's when Todd from Baer gave me a quick school on how stupid I was. One of those lessons you never forget.

I had my car set up the same way at one point. That was the only way I could get enough rear brake in my car to take the proportioning valve off full kill.

Interesting. Most of the Vette guys have similar stagger (don't know their weight distribution off hand) and they all ran 10 front / 8 rear or more aggressive 12 front 10 rear. Figured I'd see similar setup here.

My dealer recommended the 10 front 8 rear for me and at the time had 255 front 315 rear tires.

Whatever. :mock:

We should have a brake tech thread full of Ron's info, just because.

There is all kinds of Sutton brake knowledge dropped in this thread:

We do the same thing for rear braking bias..

read it.. Agree on the piston area but just set up a car on Kore 3 front & rear Z06 brakes with brake booster that have the smaller bores & has been one of the best set ups that I have liked so far

Just because I love body work so much, I decided to make the front bumper, grill, and headlights as one piece. Figured if I was going to make the bumper out of fiberglass, I might as well make it an assembly. Should clean the front of the car up, and make it easier to put together. Besides the grills for these cars go for $650, I will just run the stainless mesh like I have in the Mustang. Got the nose pieces assembled, will make the grill out of sheet metal tomorrow.

How to make a AMX grill for about 4 bucks: First get a bunch of scrap metal, Second weld it together. Done.
