Well he have some ENGINE progress. Thought that would never happen.
SQUARE Caps are on and block is line honed. And never thought this would be even remotely post-worthy. :sieg: |

Thanks Matt...gettin some attempts at humor in before DG starts trackin this beast of beasts. :unibrow: |
Mascoll is great to work with. Really like how this came out. And with the varied wheels, flare shapes, spoiler sizes, and colors, this render project was a needed part of the process to get to completion. Of course the final final rendition in real life may be different... that's the nature of this game. :D

Love the flares. Thing's savage looking.

^^^^^^^^^ HOLY CRAP!! :confused59:

Looks great!.... The black flares seem to make the stance look even lower.
 |
Awesome. Reminds me of a Mangusta pic you posted earlier. :) Given your driving skills and all the upgrades, it should go as fast as it looks. A definite contender.

For some reason, it just has a nice ring to it. |
I like it a lot.
The exhaust in white stands out a little too much for me, but if it's done in stainless the natural patina over time would be purrrrfect. Black anodize the rear spoiler hinge while you're at it. :D Looking forward to Rob's comments. :whistling: |

Oh, and the rear spoiler will be all black. Shawn could only tolerate so many of my changes before just dumping the final render on me as it stood. :D |

Dogs walked at 7:15, valves are fine, truck service and semi-detailed.................:smiley_smack: :action-smiley-027: |
The rendering looks great! If you can bring that to life, you will have a real bruiser. What is the 56 car you posted? It looks like a Pantera, but it doesn't have a quarter window and the front bumper is throwing me off. That is a cool car.

I really like it. My only thought is that the exhaust is so long. Is that proportionally correct? I think if it were a little shorter in actuality that it wouldn't be so distracting.
My car is going to end up looking very similar to this, depending on the wheel selection at the end of the day! |

Rendering looks sweet Dave, Shawn had lots of practice with those spoilers doing yours and mine at the same time.

I think the blue, black and white are just the right sizes and distances from each other. But who knows... maybe it will look like crap in person. :D Quote:

Ha. I noticed that. You can thank me for getting him to add and move the braces on the front spoiler. :unibrow: Are you getting his standard Streetfighter spoilers then? |
Yea I talked to Jake tonight, he told me what you were doing. My front valance is carbon too so I'm scared to have the spoiler lower for that reason. Your right they look much better in the rendering than the first time around. I made those same comments. Glad to see some progress I've been watching for a while and hoping you have some good luck with the motor deal
|
That rendering is sweet, the end result is going to be awesome.
|
It'd really be kool if it was yellow with grey stripes... and had a fastback roof line...
:relax: :hello:  |
that's going to be awesome Dave.

Your track car (pro touring car of the future) was an integral part of my inspiration file actually. :lostmarbles: |

Geeze Scott :_paranoid Now I have to publicly admit I love the look of the car and DGs overall vision of his project before he drops me in the grease. Sure if he wasn't such a D.A. he would already have a nasty SB2 ready to drop in it; he'll get there soon. I hope by build # three he'll have this stuff figured out:lmao: So I dig the stance. I'm amped about something different on a Camaro that doesn't destroy the original lines of the car and I think the riveted/bolted on flares accomplish that to a T. It's all business with some race heritage so what's not to like. :D The stripes :headscratch: Well hmmm :whistling: Uh welll..... I F'ing hate them, Yea I said it  Hate them as I do Eleanors. JMO But DG loves the stripes and it's his car so that's what matters. Maybe he only loves them cuz he's stuck with them but he's stuck on them. Because he loves them; I feel I have to find a way to accept them. He's obviously a closet Mustang guy. With the high strung SB2, the wide JRS front track and big rubber, dog box and other goodies this should be one hell of a track car and a really uncomfortable and sucky street car.:D You have to choose what you want to suck at so you can focus on excelling in other areas. :action-smiley-027: Quote:
