I knew something was going on this morning, I could feel a movement in the force!!! now I just need to get on my laptop because my iPad still won't show the video!!!
You said it best Ron it's about the friends, the cars are just the bank account sucker!!! |
agree with the other guys, must feel great.

That is firicken awesome Ron! Finally! Still no burnout video for which I'm a bit disappointed but I'll let it fly this time.
The best part wasn't really seeing the car driving down the road but rather your reaction to it. I could just tell by watching how pleased you were and you seemed as giddy as a school girl with the thumbs up and all. What you said at the end of the first video sums it up (and should be in your sig)...."I Fu@$'n love it!" I can't wait to feel the same about my car. |

Congrats Bro, it sounds nice and healthy. Now get some goggles and get those brakes bedded proper! :D Save me searching..........rear gear ratio and close or wide ratio tranny? What model GoPro is it? |
Congratulations buddy... Sounds pretty good for an oversize V6.

|
Despite my cutting you zero slack.... It's really fantastic to see this project coming alive!
 |
Way to go Ron. I could hear the excitement in your voice yesterday when I called you. :headspin: Even Rob was excited, although, he won't admit it. You said we couldn't hear the car, but I did. And it sounds mean on the video. Love the rumble when you gave it a little more throttle on a few of the take offs from the lights.
|
Huge day my friend. Congratulations. You deserve it.
  |

Ron,
You know I've been a lurker here. Usually just checking in to see if it was running.... then sadly turned away to wait another day. Wow, but not today! I got 2 videos to enjoy. Daaaaammmmm. you hit it out of the park. As I said before, Congrats big time. Big step forward. Cheers |

Yeah I was a little kid yesterday (when you turn 50 you don't get too many of those days). Almost didn't go out for a second putt after the water pump but was glad I did. First one was almost sensory overload and I was hyper-careful, second one started to feel like old friends and I like "oh man, can't wait to pound on this bad boy!" |

The rear is a 3.70 and the maggie is a close ratio. GF bought me the GoPro 3+ Silver. Matt was real impressed with the iPhone controls , but the playback is very cool. Quote:

Wait, water and oil?? Ron, you are the Master of Disaster. :bur2: Congrats on the milestone!!!! |
Congrats Ron! That’s great to see the video of the very first test drive… priceless. The 427 just sounds awesome…. nothing like a pumped up LS7. Enjoy!
 :drive: |
Good stuff buddy!
She is a serious car! You should've had the camera pointed at the passengers, would have liked to see the expressions on your faces.:excited: |

3:70 & CR appears to be the ticket. 1st - 2nd looked and sounded nice. Wasn't sure about the audio on the GoPro and I don't trust them! I had to install new firmware in my 3 and it helped the audio a lot. I'd check their website for firmware info. Also, anytime you can run without the waterproof case I would. Especially since they now have protected lenses on the camera. Use this mount: http://gopro.com/camera-mounts/the-frame Quote:

Congrats on the start up. 4th and goal on the one yard line.......
|
Just think... the glass might be installed by 2015! Now that's exciting.
:trophy-1302: |
All this excitement made me think it was Tuesday.....

Great job my friend. Congrats. You deserve it.
|
I've dreamt of this day...
:D |
Congrats on test driving the car, Ron. It's always a great day when that happens. Any time I fire up a car after a swap or major overhaul, I get all giddy and nervous like the first time I did it back as a teenager. Fun times. Good luck with the rest of it.
|
Yeaaa buddyyyy!!!! That's awesome! Sounds amazing and the seats look ok too :excited: :excited: :excited: -- Congrats!
|
Congrats RON
Glad to see that thing running and thanks for the parts, forgot to give you positive feed back. |
Sounds killer, gotta be kickazz to drive! Oh happy day.
|
Congrats Ron, awesome to see it alive.:bigun2: :bigun2:
|
WOW! Great day. Very happy for you, that thing sounds awesome. Got a ask what cam your running, most ls7s don't have that hot rod lope at idle. Mine is the katech torquer, ground on a 110 with a bunch of overlap, did you use something similar. Curious what the centers are on yours. Really awesome Ron! loved listening to it on that third vid.
:excited: Great job- Rich |
