Sorry.. couldn't resist.. sorry to see the trouble, the dime is wierd but it doesn't sound like that was your issue. Did the car have a water temp gauge? Did it show hot?

Let us know when you figure out the issue..

Got back from a lovely three weeks in Venezuela and decided I needed a little help. So I picked up the phone and called in my people. Trust me when I say they make all of us look bad when they work on stuff. Didn't take them long to get that thing yanked and on the stand. Once the oil pan was off the problem was obvious. Two pistons shattered...why still not sure. Crazy!

Thats nuts how did a dime get in the intake lol but at least when it blew you wasn't hurt or hit a car is fixable or can be replaced you cant be.
