In all seriousness, a very good point. Those cars aren't hard to find and there's plenty of capable shops out there, you don't have to wait around for DS&E or Foose. Scott didn't. He found a shop right there in Minnesota that did a tremendous job. Lots of great shops out there; Prodigy, G-Force, Schwartz...the list goes on and on.

Nice car If I had six figures I'd make an offer to.

Depends on the number that is in front of all the zeros. I don't know the car [and I thought I knew ALL the cool 69's!] but I can see 50k in paint, and 8k in wheels and tires. A decent core car is 20k, engine from 10-30k, 3-6k for brakes, 5-20k for interior...but you already know all this. The rest of those cars and that garage din't suddenly drop from the sky...
We have built cars similar...its a 150k gig for a driver...more if you want real horsepower or unique goodies.
If hotrods were purely a financial matter, none would have ever been built. Passion is a much better motivator than money anyway!

Me...I'd turn it because I would have a whole list of stuff I'd do different on the next one. Tough decision...good luck!

I know what you are saying, but I really don't have time to build another one now. I am working on my Supra build, getting ready for the standing mile in Oct.. For now, I'm keeping it.

thanks for all the opinions guys,

SW

i say dont do it..

You absolutly nailed that one this is how we look in europe :unibrow: . And another thing I dont see what exchange rate has to with not selling the car, in Norway were I live I have to pay 25% tax on the things i import so dont come and say it's cheap. As I see it if the price is what you would be happy with, sell it it's as simple as that. If you ask me I would never sell it
