Oh, and you are right, we are one big family here!!

Same here, just got home to read this. Kim and I know exactly how both of you feel, we feel the same way with our 3 Chihuahuas.

We are glad to read about her latest progress.. she seems to be a fighter and I'm sure she knows how much you both love her.

we will be thinking of her,

Prayers for Chia

Frank and Lisa,

Sorry to hear of the trauma Chia has gone through. As a parent, there is nothing more precious than your kids.
I will pray for continued healing for Chia, peace calm and rest for you and Lisa, and that God will show up in a mighty way to get your entire family back on a quick road to recovery.

Well, at 4AM she woke us from the baby playpen she is in beside the bed. Stanging on the hind legs, tail wagging and trying to wake us up. She wanted to see us. She is used to sleeping with us. Big news of the day is we got her to eat some chicken at 4AM and she just ate some more a little while ago. So she is eating and drinking a little. Took her to her regular Vet this monring and she said she looked good and the emergency Vet did a good job.

She is SO SORE! The stiches and staples are in the hundreds. I cannot believe she is so tough!

I think were going to make it now.

Lisa and her are sleeping on the couch right now.

That is a truly gut wrenching story. Very glad that the recovery is underway. I personally try to surround myself with as many dogs, cats, and ungulates as humanly possible, so your story hits home. I get personally upset when I see lost dog posters too, so I am a little sensitive.... Anyway, hope the healing goes well.

Cheers

Glad to hear everything is working out.

I lost 2 dogs last year, one was a yellow mutt we had for 13 years. 6 months later we lost a yellow lab we had for 15 years. Both were very much part of our family so I know exactly how your were feeling.

Keep us posted

Ok, So here is the scenario. I am on the phone with a customer, talking about his project. And out of the blue Chia gets up from her comfortable little pillow, walks right in front of me, squats and pisses on the carpet right there! Not a normal thing for her BTW

So.......... Are you pissed off she pissed on the carpet? Or over joyed everything is working correctly? LOL! Yep, we crossed another hurdle, she eating and processing everything just fine, LOL! I never thought I would be happy one of the pets peed in the house!
