It looks exactly like Velocity except for the wheels, carbon fiber, windows, graphics, etc.. I really didn't feel that way but it's clear it's way different. I really can't fault him for saying it since it's his opinion, however.

check on the legality of those tires for Optima Challenge. I think they require a treadwear of 100??? Might be different this year though.

I think drums will be lighter than discs in this case. We replaced 2nd gen discs with Baer 13" Track kit and saved 2 lbs.

The bar weight can be estimated from a steel chart having diameter and length.

Stock bar weighs 5 lbs.

I have another set of KDW2's that came but I have lagged on trying to get all the updates togther.

The weigh differences will be all over the board on different things. We wound up running some 14" Wilwood brakes front and rear. A big brake modded subframe ends up in the same zone with tubular a arms and ATS spindles. But you have to lower the suspension pretty low to give it the look. The aftermarket subframes give you a lower ride height and a clean slate design which end up give you some benfits a stock sub could never due or was intended to do. Wider tires, stronger front clip design, new unbent used parts.

I should have an update very soon, We are working on the trunk floor and quarters and building our mini tubs currently.
