Maybe they need to send you a pic. You'd have to yell at a bunch of people to get fex ex to do anything, but a proper amount of pressure can get someone to move.

Even if the wheels are damaged, it may be easily repairable, and a hell of alot quicker than waiting till next year.

Just thinking.

Oh believe me, i've tried to tell them that!!! I've talked to shipping, manager, ect, ect. It's their policy they kept saying. I told them how long it took to get the wheel from Centerline and that I DO NOT want them sent back, I have lots of people who can fix them HERE!! They said they were on the way back already, which was a BOLD FACE LIE!! But hey, why would FedEx be any different than Centerline or any other POS company. All these wheels have been is lies from the f-ing start! I'm so beside myself i can't even speak..... I.... argggg.

That sucks, man. No further progress, I presume? Someone should drive out to were they were last scanned and kick some ass. Can Fed Ex tell you where they are RIGHT NOW? Just thinking outside the box.

Centerline say's "oh, they arnt to bad, we'll fix em up and sent them back to ya". Uh, I guess their idea of "not that bad" is different than mine?
Screw it. I took em, mounted tires on, the offset that I was TOLD to get and was measured by the guys doing my air ride, was WRONG..... So they didn't fit up in the wells. Sending back to Centerline to have the offset moved 3/4 inch. Another $400 into these wheels. I should have just done all this myself. Really turned off by all businesses at the moment. Are there any "stand up" people left in this world? :faint:

But it is slowly getting closer....

Now you know why I built my very own shop! I can screw it up just as good as the next guy - but #1 - my screw up is less costly... #2 - I learn something #3 - doing it yourself is much more satisfying

I would love to do that. But I'm far from that kind of money to be building and tooling up my own shop. Just a poor guy wanting some help and willing to pay for it. But hard to find people like me that stand behind their work.

MX -- I totally get that part - trust me.... But it is the reason I built my own shop. Multiple car projects - multiple issues with bad shops... However, I know this doesn't fit most peoples cases... as usual - I was just trying to be somewhat humorous.

Bravo! Words I live by also.

MX - Sorry to hear about all your wheel troubles. There have been many of us that have had trouble with wheel companies for all sorts of different reasons. I've done my share of venting also. Just hang in there man!

DRJDVM's '69 12-15-2009 09:21 AM

So the shop that is doing your car did all the measuring etc and told you what BS to get etc, and you are paying the $400 to "re-do" the wheels?

I would have an issue with that......

mxjunkie 12-16-2009 07:08 AM

I do have a problem with them. But they are NOW out of thier space they leased. I was the last customer. They still have to try and fix why the car is riding lower on the passenger side, they can't seem to figure it out. Greg, your not to far from me. So if I need some custom work done in the future maybe I'll look you up.

And what's really funny is that I shipped my wheels UPS this time and the tracker still says they have been billed but not recieved the package to transport yet? For the last 4 days? lol. I love this stuff! :faint:
Turns out they just missed all the scans and still should be in Cali today.
